Teacher Mike is doing something great for the understanding of the two peoples! Thank you for promoting this kind of peace and love and friendship between peoples.
China is such a beautiful country! I live in the state of Arkansas in the US and have been wanting to move to China for a few years now. Have always imagined that I would choose to live in one of the big cities, but now I can see myself living in a more rural area of China. Thanks for making this video Mike! And thanks to Brian for pointing out that China has 5000 years of history and culture, a fact that too many people neglect to remember these days. Hopefully one day I can experience China for myself in person, instead of just jealousy watching videos from far away.

@@karaciao6896 they actually do. Chinese trade all over the world. Even they made strong efforts in sending diplomats that know the host language and culture before sending them out. At least China don’t spread hate. Somehow the western media and politicians make it sound like nothing is good in China. I live in the west. I hardly see any media praise China for lifting people off poverty, greening up desert, improve literacy rate to 93%.. china already implemented a lot of environmental friendly programs without much fanfare. Great story, Teacher Mike. Thanks for showing how these two American families are enriching the lives of the local villagers, offering educational opportunities other than online classes and showing the great outdoors to children who are often stuck indoor in front of screens for too long. Chinese children and children around the world needs more cultural exchanges and opportunities to learn from other cultures so that they can grow up to be world citizens.
@jzvr58422 жыл бұрын
You mean American children, Americans and Westerners are more brainwashed than North Koreans, they're the ones who really need to learn about how other places are in real life and other cultures so they can open their eyes. Chinese children already know much more than Western children about the outside world cause Chinese media doesn't brainwash them the same way to keep the population dumb.

As a matter of fact, there are many expats living in Taiwan and experiencing similar lives like the owers of the Red Hill B&B. I strongly recommend Mike come over here check it out and let the people in the West, who are dreading the rapid development of China now, understand there is no word called colonialism in our 5000 years of history. Why are they living in a daily dread of being invaded by China. Ignorance is not a bliss. Call me Smilie if you like.

I agree to most of your opinions, except for the part of " there is no word called colonialism "in 5000 yrs history of China. Well, say that to any Vietnamese ,the country that has a 1000 years history of fighting invasion from so many dynasties of China 😅 The countries maybe friends now ( or at least seem to be), but history is history. Like you said, ignorance is not a bliss.
