I love that both fights seemed somewhat even, with both sides gaining ground on different parts of the fight, only for it to turn out one was playing right into the hands/plans of the other, and once it all comes crashing down you realize the fight was never that close to begin with. Rather it looked like they were even because one was setting up a checkmate play, while the other was completely unaware and simply going all out in the fight, adapting on the fly.

Jujustu Kaisen (while slowly driving me insane with the Sukuna shenanigans currently going on) is one of the few anime that pulled me back into shounen. It feels very fresh and urban, it gives a OG Naruto vibe in certain areas.

Jujitsu kaisen is one of that absolute favourites, it pushes what it means to be shonen while being such a raw shonen at the same time It’s only behind dragon ball, one piece and yu yu hakusho for me 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I hope JJK ends better then Bleach and Naruto. Bleach I can sort of forgive for the ending because Kubo was so sick and everything had to be rushed. Naruto though. Oof. Imo the best fight in Dragon ball was Goku vs Majin Vegeta. The animation was all time shounen peak, the stakes were high and it was more emotional than their first fight. Vegeta was not just an enemy at that point, he was a broken hero who let his somewhat evil, primal instincts take over again. The fight was brutal and had an unexpected twist when Vegeta decided to sucker punch Goku and sacrifice himself in attempt to eliminate Buu. Really good stuff
