My dad grew up in Kroch Chmar, Kampong Cham and went to medical school in PP to become a doctor where he met my mom. Both of them died during Pol Pot. I still have vivid memories about this province. Happy Autumn from Minnesota!

Am 60 year old Filipino. I followed through what happened in Cambodia then.suprising to know in this video real person who suffered the brunt of Pol pot. It grieved my heart how real intellectuals vanished by the demons.i tour Phnom Penh in 2018 and saw the grimace of the holed skulls oh my god why this kind of tragedy happened. Way back 1977 to 1980 a time of good times in Manila time of discotheque partying.there was blackout news about Cambodia. americans of 60s spoiled generation like nancy Sinatra etc.and that blonde American anti war actress this thing would not have happened. If they have supported president Johnson communists have not taken saigon. And so Pol pot wouldn't rised up.you should not believe these coward liberal historians.your parents have been alived until now.

@@titosarmiento8333 Actually Pol Pot era was from 1975 - 1979. Most of my family members were wiped out in the labor camps. In mid 1979, I left by boat and ended up in Panay Island, Philippines. I almost die during the escaping in the unknown sea. I came to the US in 1981 as a refugee. Cambodia has a very sad and painful history. I'm 65 now, retired and travelling the world. Hopefully, I'm able to re-visit Panay Island. Peace!

Would you like to live in a house like those or do you prefer the modern apartments? Thanks for making the video. I have never seen houses like that. I think they are charming.
As someone fluent in Vietnamese (Army Language School, 1964), and after seeing many Caucasians posting travel logs but not speeking the native langauge, or very little of it, I apprieciate your fluency. I am curious about Kompang Cham in relation to the word "Cham" as my academic research interest (besides my former profession of environmental impact assessment) is ancient Champa.

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, & believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.
