I was raised Hindu Tamil Brahmin Iyer... except that I was raised in the USA, and I view myself as American. I have never held a passport from India...only the USA. In 2004, I married Thaiduong in Vietnam. At that time, she was my girlfriend of nearly 4 years. We are still married today, and resident in Arizona. Thaiduong was raised Roman Catholic, and as a person in Ho Chi Minh City of South Vietnamese Mekong Delta background. She immigrated to USA and became a USA citizen. We still love each other very deeply, and want to continue to be together. She is still Catholic and Vietnamese. I am still officially Hindu, but have adopted Buddhism, and of Indian background, but am American. So you can make it work. Just gotta be ready to learn. BTW, my in-laws in Vietnam love me, and have only good things to say about me.

I would love to see indian inter racial marriage divorce rates . It is probably the lowest out of any inter racial marraige types. Both indian women and men probably are less likely to ask for a divorce in these inter racial marraiges

Actually Indians try to hold their marriage with their only wife till the last phase until and unless relationships turn extremely sour and unbearable 😇

Wat an incredibly gorgeous couple, this is a match made in heaven and lived in heaven! Rarely have i seen such bliss in a relationship over a period of 5 decades. Relationships go thru ups and downs, unfortunately decay also, but look at them, they joyful, blissful, truly madly in luv as if they have their ring ceremony coming up this weekend. U got to have v v good karma to get such a life. God bless them and may the good times last for the Nandas till eternity.

Tolerance on catholic and hindu is possible but hindu and muslim rarely happens. I would like to ask this couple 1. if they are having any trouble getting their daughters marrier because of the interculture marriage. 2. In the beginning of your dating, Were you ever so concerned that the other person's family might never accept you. Is it such an important factor? Were either of you ever worried on not being accepted into the other person's family?

Why can’t their daughters find their own husbands? Why would they have any problem getting their daughters married?

My parents were Hindu and Muslim. Married for 46 years when my Dad passed. There's was a very compatible marriage with a foundation of deep love that United them (they met each other in the 1950s and married in 1960). Both their kids went on to marry Hindus❤

It’s rare to see two people being MADE FOR EACHOTHER, like even though I see my parents who have stood in the relationship they are a match. But full of compromises, a lot. I feel like to some extent compromises are good, but having a lot can strain one or the other. But these two understand eachother and truely enjoy their relationship together. Hope everyone gets to experience this sort of love 💕🤧

Educated people tend to stay together. They share same core values and very respectful to one another and also both supportive in-laws makes the union harmonious as well. Unfortunately for myself didn’t work out for me twice! I chose poorly. I hope to meet someone someday who values me and have some of these traits.

Still waters run deep - exactly right. You almost want to tell those people who are desperately trying to prove to others with those public displays of affection to go, get a room.

Lovely video & lovelier couple. Well when Margaret & Kapil dated first, i was in Kindergarten in India, & forwarded this video to three of my friends from Kindergarten, who are now in the USA and have similar inter cultural marriages. Wishing Margaret & Kapil many more years of Love & Happiness. God Bless you Both. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
