Yeah there are these desis who love their 'purity' of language, thought and culture. For them, Arjun's interpretation of these songs... is called a remix, not a version. Both of these are two different things. I pity those who are brainwashed in cultural purity. So to them - anyone who is different is WRONG and DIRTY. Of course I am a desi, there are some broadminded desi people who liked the video and form his fanbase. Not of all people are the same. And not all people can accept it. Arjun is trying to get the essence of the hindi lyrics into English in his songs. HE IS NOT A HINDI ARTIST. I find his lyrics a good overlap with the original. I really like the fact that he sings hindi in whatever way he can instead of using a double. He could easily advertise for a 'pure desi' singer to sing male/female leads. He has some other songs, purely in English and well done.
