@jordanrideout12694 жыл бұрын
@Sea Siren - I support Trump, I’m educated (although admittedly not highly educated), and game for debate. As for highly educated, maybe at least one high profile example would be Ben Shapiro. I think it’s interesting that you find it hard to imagine a highly educated Trump supporter and then point to polls. Ignoring the issue of polling, a group of people that is, on average, uneducated should not lead you to conclude that educated people don’t exist in that group. And believe me, I could show you hours of footage of people on the left protesting and being obnoxious with absolutely no clue what they’re talking about. In addition, when you see coverage of ‘obnoxious political people’ there’s so much of it that’s barely edited and just meandering through lefty crowds to ask questions, and so much of it that shows dumb Trump supporters, but often carefully selected people and edits. So... it’s hard for me to believe that stupidity here doesn’t lean left.

Kweisi Mfume, pledging their support for the bill, even if it lacked a racial justice provision the White House was prepared to give up to get more votes for the legislation. That provision would have allowed defendants to appeal a death sentence by submitting data that suggested a racial bias in death sentencing in a jurisdiction. “We cannot afford to lose the opportunities this bill provides to the people of our cities,” the mayors wrote, according to the Los Angeles Times on July 15, 1994." "Republicans thought the bill had grown too “soft”; they objected to additional spending in the final bill, calling it “pork.” McConnell told CNN on Aug. 15, 1994, 10 days before the final Senate vote: “The Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police this weekend came out against this crime bill. … [B]ecause they thought it was porked up, that it was going to be a bill basically about social workers and not police officers.”

@@tet7497 Wrong. He wanted the bill more effective, but with safety provisions for minorities, only Republicans who considered it "too soft" refused to vote in favor of it unless those saftey provisions were removed, and black religious and political leaders still approved of it because they felt more needed to be done about crime, which Biden tried to achieve. Thing is, some people accept incomplete and/or biased "reported" sources as true rather than research and study the true sources for information that will allow them to decide for themselves what's true and not true. Since the onset of the internet and extreme disinformation, I gave up taking anyone's word for anything. It's lazy to do so.
@OjoBlacke4 жыл бұрын
@@tet7497 First of all, your comments and my responses were about Biden and what you called the "malice law' in Washington State and what its intentions were and the less than fully factual assertions you made about it being some kind of intentionally racist act, and not about whether some people from both parties are "racist and bad.' Secondly, Martin Luther King, as well as many black Americans, initially thought Nixon was 'on their side', but later questioned his sincerity: "Blacks believed Nixon to be more committed to civil rights reform than President Eisenhower had been, but the attitudes of black voters shifted during the final days of the 1960 presidential campaign. In October 1960 King was sentenced to four months in jail for violating his probation after participating in an Atlanta sit-in. After encouragement from Harris Wofford and other advisors, Nixon’s opponent, John F. Kennedy, phoned Coretta Scott King to convey his sympathy. King expressed disappointment that, despite his previously warm relationship with Nixon, “When this moment came, it was like he had never heard of me.” King believed Nixon’s inaction made him appear as “a moral coward and one who was really unwilling to take a courageous step and take a risk” (King, 9 March 1964)." Thirdly, I think the internet and extreme disinformation has made dramatic conspiratorial delusions of the satanic Illuminati via Globalization seem so real to the easily moulded thought of today's youth so that the real danger of dictatorial nationalism becomes not only negligible, but readily acceptable. Sad.

@@dr.flacko203 Not everybody's vote. There have been countless reports of voter suppression all over the nation, particularly targeting racial minorities, women, and the youth, dating back to the early 19th century. Both legal and illegal efforts have been made to prohibit eligble voters to exercise their right to vote. Of course voter suppression varies among jurisdictions, but there needs to be a more effective way to protect everyone's right to vote nationwide!
@dr.flacko2034 жыл бұрын
@@AMoistEggroll You're talking categorically. I'm talking in a syllogical manner. All votes are ethically supposed to matter. Votes never did not matter. That is a truth, it is evident and proven. If the evidence fits the premise the conclusion comes as such.
@dr.flacko2034 жыл бұрын
@mark burke To say that people's votes matter is wrong, I'm afraid, is a logical fallacy, with which we call as "false premise". It is to create a rhetoric of upholding assumption as a proven fact. People's votes matter, if I was wrong, in heterological example, leaders would only be selected by choice of high authority, with no regard to the lower society, breaking the laws of Uni-ethicism. Votes matter in this sense.
@dr.flacko2034 жыл бұрын
@mark burke The claim you made in regards to electoral colleges is also a Logical fallacy; Hasty Generalization, in which you project a statement and treat it as if it was an established fact without regards to the etymological and historical evidences that will satisfy the premise and therefore calibrate itself to the conclusion. Plato belonged to Athens, where only democracy and aristocracy is considered as the major ideologies, it isn't comparable to the United States, as the form of government is different in nature.
