Watch the first day and highlights for free on KZbin it literally shows you everything that you need to see I mean think about it they show bad shots and shots from certain players that mean absolutely nothing to the tournament top plays just because a certain player has a big name and makes a good put for par when they aren’t even below par for the tournament doesn’t deserve to be a highlight but they give them to us because it was a shot that got video coverage but all that said just to make my point of trust me if you need to see a shot it will be a part of the highlights and it’s pretty much just a condensed version of the live coverage not actually highlights but it’s free on KZbin 🤷♂️💯

Modern Interneter kucks, who strive a career in disc golf rumors and emotional bias tournament coverage are never gonna admit when greed/big business practices are compromising the growth and integrity of the game! This might ruin their chances as the dream job of kuck’n the pro tour. The fact that some of us don’t play tournaments or subscribe to the network, says something about inner issues in the game! We’ve played for over 20yrs, so what?! Right! I’ll end with slow play and pay walls are not the recipe for growth and possibly! It’s how you get more interneters who’ve played for a couple years, justifying “big business” predatory behavior on its tiny community to justify a salary and pros who make the cut, not being compensated for their play! Don’t forget their travel expenses, nightly accommodations, food etc. but again wtf do I know?! Having lived through an exact replica of this “system” and watching a huge industry fall face flat and collapse, I’d like to think, I know more than most! Disc golf will continue to do circles until the DGPT, PDGA, DG NETWORK understands that without the players their big business plan will fail! I’d start to pay attention to the payout breakdown, at local level to tour…heres an example of the reality of fuckery going on in professional sports circles www.espn.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/10089803/pga-tour-tax-breaks-help-fuel-giving-which-falls-industry-standards#

The time warning/time rules are hot garbage. I am glad it didn't take Gannon off track. He handled it better than others have in the past. With that said a game should be about the game and not about the officials. 30 seconds or 90 seconds to line up an important shot isn't really a separator of the essence of disc golf in my opinion. In chess they have blitz, rapid, and classic formats that use the clock to affect play, but I believe that the consensus is that the best chess happens in the classic time format. It angers me a little to see the sport cheapened by people feeling like they need to interject themselves. There is literally no one behind the lead card. There are those goofly little videos where people start a timer, run as fast as they can, throw as fast as they can to hole out as soon as possible and that is fine for goofy little videos, but not something that I want to watch at a major. I check myself whenever I find myself agreeing with Broodie, but after checking myself, I find myself wondering why not just do what golf does in this case? Disc golf is screwing up a solved problem. Switching topics... I am not as put off by the rule change on 16 as a lot of people seem to be in as much as it brings consistency to the current tour landscape of disc golf. With that said, it makes me think that the current general drop zone/island rules of disc golf aren't necessarily what people want. I don't think there should be more than one hole like that per tournament, but why not bring it in general in as much as it seems to be something that even people that have suffered from it like.

Too Easy?!?!?! For 7 feet tall, zero body fat hot head MPO players? No way. It definitely isn't because the course is so open, and favors throws that only reward those throwing steady 5-6 hundred per shot. Definitely couldn't be that. Yeah if we could just get some more ball golf courses to play on. That'd be greeeeaaaate. Disc golf should definitely only reward those who can throw for distance. Who needs midrange discs anyway. Just get the hot heads out there and let them take their frustration out by making ace runs out of par 5's. That's what we want people to pay to see. Seems like the best way to grow the sport. And if you took anything I've said as anything other than severe sarcasm, maybe the internet isn't for you.

don't care what anybody says but the FPO was really disappointing to me and Tattar had no real competition and walked the Open although playing a terrible 3rd round to her standards. Especially when you compare the MPO and FPO on a technical basis there's a huge gap. A lot of FPO's competitors putting seems really uncontrolled with suboptimal posture. On the MPO side of things i was hoping for a tighter competition but alot of my favourite players disappointed and some players never were competative across the whole four days. Gotta give lots of props to Gannon Buhr though, for standing up to the pressure that Wysocki and McBeth were loading onto him, especially being that young still he really stood his man the last cple baskets. Lots of respect for him.

Sponsorship signs should not be at an angle or near landing areas near the basket like the one on 18. I wonder how many other disc golfers hit that sign as their discs were hyzer-skipping toward the basket. Ricky was unfairly punished by that sign. Tournament organizers have to he more aware of those types of errors. Quite shocking really.

@@flatnicable I simply believe that if you are on the final card and are in contention, and this is the final round, and the tournament is still not decided, and the player in question is not egregiously violating the time rule, which I don't believe Buhr was, they should be given a little platitude to take their shots even if they are technically violating a timing rule...I know that rules are rules, but I think they can be slightly bent in certain situations, and I think this is the epitome of an appropriate situation to allow a slight bending of this particular rule.
