Congratulations on the birth of your son. Your sharing took me back to my daughter's birth way back in 2004, at about 28 weeks along. Remembering how unprepared we were; no crib, no car seat, no name! All your plans changed in a moment - your dreams in jeopardy. I'm so glad things are going well and I hope you have as wonderful a NICU team as we did. I've recently discovered and really liked your content, but today I subbed to the channel and look forward to more. Congrats again to you and your wife!

I've chosen, as a male, to not have a baby. At 46 and I only have fur babies. I'm very capable, although its just a decision that I made in highschool. But my sister dealt with pre-eclampsia in a few of her births. Fortunate to say that they are all healthy and well. I hope that this brings you a little hope for the future.❤

Congratulations and I’m so sorry that you have had to go through this man, I am glad things have worked out. I literally just went to a medical/academic talk about PE a couple days ago and it’s one of the scariest things I have ever heard in my life. I cannot imagine what you are all going through and you two are so unbelievably strong for getting through all of this. I don’t usually comment on like, any video ever, but I hope things start to smooth out soon ❤

Congrats and welcome to fatherhood. My life took a similar path when my son (first child) was born and required open heart surgery at 4 days old. He's 30 now and as normal as any of us. Believe me when I say you and your wife will be able to handle whatever comes. The human spirit is amazing. Stay positive, rely on the medical experts and don't forget to take care of yourself. Don't be afraid to ask a million questions. Find a support group of parents who have gone thru similar situations. Before long you'll be celebrating Aiden's first birthday and then he'll want to start throwing discs with dad. If you need to talk to someone about things, feel free to reach out. Peace my friend.

I'm the father of a premmie daughter who was born at 30 weeks in Melbourne, Australia due to HELLP syndrome. Basically a next level pre-eclampsia. Please make sure you reach out if anyone offers you support. Being there for your wife is the most important thing right now and it takes so much out of you emotionally. Trust me though. It will get better. Congrats on the birth too, he'll be running around causing mischief before you know it.

I don’t see why anyone has anything against jump putts? If we push the standard putting circle to circle 2, just make jump putts legal at that point outside circle 2…

wooded is awesome, we have such a unique game compared to golf where we can throw these super flexy overstable discs around trees and mold our shot shapes around the courses around. throwing 600 feet off the tee is fun to watch sometimes but molding a perfect hyzer flip is just so fun to watch in comparison.

In Norway we had 89 courses in 2020, and now we have over 600 courses, I heard it's around 900 now, but I have not found any info on that myself. And not all courses are 18 holes, but still. Almost all schools have a small course now, so new kids will grow the sport 😀

One Remark in regards to the PDGA Membership and Germany in perticular. So in a lot of countries (Germany also), you dont need a PDGA Membership to play competitively. You only need a Membership in the DFV (Deutscher Frisbee Verband - Germany Frisbee Association). You would need the PDGA only if you leave the Country and want to play in a A- or B-Tier in...lets say Denmark. And in regards to Germany and Disc Golf direcly, sadly we have around 5000-10000 active Player in the hole Country. I live near Brunswick / Wolfsburg with the biggest concentration of courses, Kids get teached Disc Golf in school, but 99,5% of People have no Idea what this weird things in our Parks are and why people are throwing Frisbees in 2025.

My family always said: the reason why sports like basketball, football and baseball are main stream are because they are accessible by Inner City people as well. People can imagine themselves hitting home runs in the world series with a wiffle ball and bat, scoring the buzzer beater for the championship, or catching the hail marry; while out in the street in front of one's house.

More players jump or step outside C2 than in it right now. So this rule is changing NOTHING! Faults happen outside C2 just as often, if not more often (by percentage of attempts), than inside C2. So yeah, not a fix, just catering to the crowd of whiners that have never taken the time to learn to putt better outside C1.

I’ve been throwing Darts and Firebirds for the entirety of my disc golf life because of Sir Sexton, and have never enjoyed two more consistent discs in my lineup.. Nate is the GOAT at his life, and I am so glad his life has translated into mine, and not just because of those two discs..

I'm cool with the putting change I think with him circle 2 you should be able to leap over your disc kind of make sense. Anything outside of circle too even if it's on the border of circle too I'm okay with. I seen some people that can like crazy speed throw disc but they need that leap the fucking do it and nude fuck up their game and I kind of find that funny lol

Am I the only one that disagrees? Obviously I’m not a touring pro so I can’t speak on the mental/physical wear and tear of the touring life. However, I find a lot of the tour stop courses to be fun to watch. Playing here in the northeast US I would say 85% of the real courses (not pitch and putt 200’ avg length courses) here are wooded. It’s fun and challenging but it’s kind of the same argument as what Jerm is saying in terms of design. Watching these long holes on tour is something that excites me since it’s not something I get to experience regularly. Throwing far and staying in the fairway is the biggest part of disc golf. If you remove either of those obstacles this sport becomes little more than walking around and tossing a disc. I’m not saying everything should be distance based. I also don’t think it IS distance based. Sure to be cashing out on the pro tour you need to have distance. However if that was all that mattered AB would’ve been winning events left and right. The last thing I wanna mention is the spectator/viewer aspect. Personally I think it would be incredibly difficult to have enough cameramen and crew to film a smooth and entertaining round in some of these more wooded courses. At least some of the courses here unless you’re standing in the fairway you can’t see much of the hole. You’d have to have people posted everywhere. And I’ll just include this. Some people mentioned not having repeating stops year to year. Again I enjoy it because we get to see how the players and style of play change from year to year. It gives players more motivation to defend a title. Keeps the nostalgia coming. I do think that there are so many amazing untapped courses that don’t get the love they deserve. So I do agree there I wish we could get more stops. It would be nice to have different events running at the same time. More flexibility for pros traveling, more opportunities to watch live, more courses getting love, and an increased chance of watching a new card. Sometimes when players are hot, they’re HOT. They’ll be on the coverage card week after week (Think Buhr). It would allow for more varied content while keeping the well established stops.
