Why this Raspberry Pi Pico Robot uses CircuitPython

Thank you! I bought 4 of those last year and got to learn circuit python. I just been studying arduino all these years and kinda unmotivated to learn again something new. But now I have all summer to do so. Please send me a link to where I can learn circuit python drop and drag coding. I am tired of arduino ide. Coding is my weakest area.

Hello, the coding is not drag and drop, but python files and libraries can be dragged and dropped onto the CircuitPython file system. The learn adafruit guide at learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-circuitpython/overview is a good place to start if you have not yet used CircuitPython much. My book "Robotics at Home with Raspberry Pi Pico" also starts with simple CircuitPython examples but builds up to fairly complex robotics algorithms using the Pico.

They are double A batteries. I've been testing multiple connectivity things, including esp32 based wi-fi, BlueTooth BLE with either Bluefruit or the nrf52840, and using a Raspberry Pi Zero W for wirelessly debugging the code on the Pico with lots of logging and visualisation. It can likely run on 6xAA or potentially smaller, although one thing I wanted to ensure was motor current would not often lead to Raspberry pi Pico resets due to power drops. This was something I saw with a smaller battery set plus the ESP32 fairly frequently. A LiPo/LiIon solution would work well here on space and weight, but I've kept that complexity out so it's easier for people to get hold of the parts to copy the robot.

Hello, are you installing the CircuitPython library or the uf2?
