Southampton, I thought they would be the team of the season before the season even started (purely based on the improvement we saw last season, even despite 9-0 loss). You'd expect them to improve further. I think wolves are defensively solid but going forward not there. Villa too soon to call.

Sean Dyche needs more backing He's litterally a magician with what he has - 10th place finish last season and took them to Europa places few seasons before Such an underrated tactician, anyone who follows Burnley knows he doesn't just do a 442 low-block he changes it up nearly every match He just has 0 backing from the board, Only real signing was a 31 year old Dale Stephens Burnley can get a dynamic right winger, like David Brooks and Harry Wilson Things will look different for them
@fayterrmusic36294 жыл бұрын
I agree except for the fact that burnley dont only do a low block. Dyche deserved at least 40 million pounds to spend and a few loans.
@WOOOPdoctorFROGhere4 жыл бұрын
That's why I will have no sympathy for Burnley when they get relegated. It'll be a shame for the fans, and Dyche doesn't deserve it. But the Burnley board do. They've been in the league for years now, raking in the TV money. Yet too stingey to give dyche any of the money to buy new players. Christ they couldn't even retain Jeff Hendrick, he chose to go to Newcastle hardly the biggest salary payers of the league. Burnleys first choice full backs are over 30 and they didn't even bother to give him the money to replace them. And they couldn't even secure harry Wilson on loan. Do they spend any money at all? What a disgrace.

as a West Brom fan, I kinda feel a need to voice an opinion: West Brom CAN stay up. When it comes down to it, we were having a decent spell before Lockdown #1, and the restart showed our dip in form that we haven't really come out of as of yet, but the game against Tottenham, it's so clear that the FD lads either weren't watching or weren't paying attention because for around half an hour, West Brom looked the better side. Watch any highlight video from Pereira, Diangana, Sam Johnstone, and you'll see that this club holds promise. With the addition of Gallagher, the lad who just doesn't stop running, we have potential. As of this point, realistically, I'd take 17th. But from there we improve. We had a transfer budget of 20 million. Our owners REFUSE to invest. The fact we aren't in League 2 as of this point is a miracle. It's not about being the most clinical team in the prem at the moment, it's about being the least awful. As they said, there's 5 teams in contention for relegation (as of this point), and only three could go down. I wouldn't put it past West Brom for a great escape Pt. 2. We almost did it under Big Dave, and Slaven Bilic has buckets of experience. When the team finally starts to gel, we'll either be safe or it'll be too late. Fingers crossed.

He's got rid of any physicality from the team and they only have one player (maupay) that can score, because he's binned off all the other strikers. Just because they have little players and can pass the ball, doesn't mean they're this brilliant team. People are deluded. They'll almost certainly finish this season with the least amount of goals scored. They're the same as Wigan under martinez. I don't know why everyone keeps shitting on Newcastle. Bruce came in, saw what Benitez had built there and didn't change anything because that system clearly works. They've bought some quality players like Wilson, Fraser, Hendrick and Lewis. Also Jonjo Shelvey is the best passer of the ball in the whole PL apart from De Bruyne and Thiago Alcantara. Dubravka is a great keeper and Darlow has done fantastically well to replace him. Individually they have the best quality center backs in the bottom half(Schar, Lascelles, Fernandez, Clark, they're all PL level). Going forward they've got Saint-Maximin and Almiron. That team has quality all over. They're just playing a boring brand of football. That doesn't mean that they're bad. Not only are they not involved in the relegation fight at the moment, but they won't be involved in it at any point this season. They'll end up finishing slap bang middle of the table in 10th. West Brom, Sheffield and Fulham are going down.
