Reason behind Tata not sending harrier and safari for crash test is because of fuel pump placement Its a JRL platform and TaTa have placed fuel pump right infront of passenger seat in the bonnet. So on the frontal impact , there would be issue achieving 5 star. Thats the reason they have opted out

@@gopalakrishnanr525 earlier i had Alto 800 2013 bought and recently i planned to buy new one. I liked Altroz design so blindly i fixed to go for TATA Altroz and almost decided it. Then i did test drive & felt slightly discomfort. Then i planned to do some research of Altroz competitors and did full study of Altroz pros and cons. Then i came to know about the problems of TATA cars (generally) my friend had TATA Tigor and he said me better go for Maruthi or Hyundai. And then after seeing so many TATA user reviews i decided to back off. And planned to buy Glanza/Baleno or i20. Maruthi has poor Built Qty but in recent new Baleno they improved much. And found i20 is better in all formats so Finally i bought Hyundai i20 Sportz 2months back. Note: I'm not saying don't buy TATA cars. It has some other advantages than Hyundai/Maruthi/Honda like Built Qty, Breaking etc.. But u have to compromise some problems also not like in other foreign brands. Cheers!!!💓

I use a safari and I still face everything he said 🥶🥶 mediocre interiors , bad sensors , crappy infotainment system . Steering issue can’t be explained better than this . I get sensors warning every now and then , it goes off once u restart the vehicle but if doesn’t the service guys clear it for u without explaining why it occurs . They simply say it’s a system error and noting to worry 🤷🏻‍♂️ ! Ofcourse u get a good engine and a sturdy vehicle for 25 L but if u r just Looking for a sturdy one u can always buy a 407 and be happy about it .

Same steering issue in Tata Nexon. Vehicle will go left if the steering is centered. First time when I complained, they didn't sorted it out. Then I reached the General manager of SRT(Coimbatore). He took the vehicle again and calibrated. NOW its straight. ISSUE RESOLVED. Note: Proper dealership like SRT Coimbatore - can fix this issue. To do: Raise a Tweet tagging TATA. They will reach you and fix this issue. [OR] Coimbatore SRT , Saibaba Kovil branch will fix this.

@birlasparvai Steering can be fixed, My NEW SAFARI had the same problems. i visited ASS, but i had to go twice, but they could solve the problem. what he did was fix the alignment,, but it was not a easy adjustment like other cars, but they did it. to verify this, i checked the alignment after 4000kms at a regular alignment shop outside, they conirmed that alignment is perfect and didnt need any adjustment. Outcome - Side pulling problem fixed. No more shoulder pains. The shaking and moving of steering in minor road bumps has reduced drastically. If we find ways to get the problems fixed, we can enjoy the car, but it takes effort. Not every ASS will fix things, we need to hunt by ourselves based on city. In Bangalore, i got it fixed at EmmEmm Tata motors.

Service depends on your personality and interactions. 3 வருடங்களாக Harrier ZTA பயன்படுத்துகிறேன். எப்போதும் service problem இல்லை. எல்லா service recordsஉம் எந்த dealerஇடம் சென்றாலும் பார்க்கலாம். I am based out of Chennai. 2 incidents on service. 1. The engine check light was light when I was in a hill station. Called my service engineer. He was confident that it was a reset issue. Asked me to drive cautiously and promised won’t be an issue. But seeing my worries, he asked me to go to Coimbatore if I was not comfortable returning. The dealer in Coimbatore (different franchise) checked and confirmed everything to be right other than a skipped step after service 2 to reset the service indicator. User setting doesn’t override for interval service. They didn’t even charge me. 2. I had to rush to attend a funeral. I realised that DEF oil was very low and got a “100 km more warning”. Called a dealer in Karur who kept the garage open at 7:30-8:00 PM and helped me fill the DEF oil so that I can continue. It is purely personal experience. Observation in steering is correct. I drive both in Chennai traffic and a good highways. Besides the issues, he mentioned, it will hydroplane. If you drive, you have to be careful. But once you use and you are good, it is precise. Observation on brakes is partially true. Fantastic brakes, pads and shoes ware out around 20-25k Headlight and horns are bad in city. Highway you have to be careful as it works only with high beam. Local mileage (automatic - always AC) is 10. Highways 16-17 if you drive in city mode or 12-13 of you drive hard in sports mode. System hanging happens. But once in a month or 3000 kilometres. Not as frequently as he said. Looks like he got a lemon.

Wonderful review. As an owner after using the vehicle for 1 year has given a non biased experience. As mentioned the steering issue is still not rectified even in the new version too,the PDI is not done. After service is the worst. If TATA is not changing their attitude. Definitely it will be a blunder.

Very nice and honest review from the user. As a TATA customer a few opinions 1. PDI from TATA is available and they did that for my Nexon and I did too 2. Service seems to be dependend on dealer to dealer. I had a proper checklist given my the dealer on issues and my average service cost is rs 3500 after 4 service. Having said that, Tata is still responsible for average and below average services provided by its dealers I cant believe TATA still has not corrected steering issues on Harrier.. thats unacceptable and major concern which TATA has to rectify..even if it takes recall of vehicles

@@MrBalaparthi If you are going to drive mostly in the city, I would suggest that you consider the Grand i10 Nios from Hyundai with a 4 cylinder petrol engine instead of Punch or Altroz with noisy 3 cylinder engines. If you can extend your budget to Rs.9.50 lakhs, then you can go for a 4 star rated Maruti Brezza with a naturally aspirated 1.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine with the Maruti reliability and service. The base variant will cost you approx. Rs.9.50 lakhs onroad.

U can consider Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz or Maruthi Breeza.. i20 sportz is Best on My opinion for 9 - 9.5L.. even i20 magna is 8L which is recently updated with more features and Hyundai always produce Smooth driving cars without any problems& Honda too.. so u can consider Hyundai , Honda or Maruthi.. But Maruthi has bit low build quality and that depends on your driving skill for making accidents.. Hyundai and Maruthi are better..

It is very difficult to understand why Tata Motors is so insensitive to service/quality related issues of their vehicles. This owner is a thorough gentleman and he has not shown any bitterness towards the company and given the praise where due by appreciating certain issues but the fact remains even after spending 24 lacs he is unhappy which is just not fair. KZbin is full of videos of unhappy customers of Tata for the past several years but the company doesn't appear to be bothered at all.

Really in tata service they are very much lag in problem solving skills, they are using the technicians with no or low knowledge like training apprentices and they dont study the problems for everything they will suggest for replacement.. If u r going to buy the car thro loan take double of ur loan amount because they will replace everything. Recently they made 2lac punch cars let them make another 2lac for replacement with this level of service.. Spares availability in market also poor almost 6 months i m searching for thermostat elbow assembly for my tata bolt petrol car...this is why indians are choosing maruthi even safety ratings are not upto the mark..

Am using Tata harrier XT+ for past 6 months 12k km driven finished 2 free services, The only issue i had is left side stearing pulling issues, The service I faced its also good, fit and finish is average but nowadays german cars also have bad fit & finish than Tata . Harrier is very good car in my point of view❤

Thanks to the Dr who has good knowledge of the cars and other detailing of the car. Thanks to Birla bro for bringing out the details by asking relevant question. Had an Idea of booking a Harrier, now double thinking about the same. Since I had several issues with Manza Aura+ Which I have still now. Service is one of the major issue for more than 1 decade. The service people try to convince us rather than rectifying the problem.

As usual excellent video from Birla, honest review from Owner , despite hearing such negative feedbacks from most of TATA owners there was no improvement from TATA is a sad thing. This is the case since decades. People feeling patriotic towards Indian makes and investing their hard earned money but getting such service/ products will make them to move back to foreign brands. This is some thing our Indian manufacturers has to change.

The customer is spot on with all his observations. One more major anomaly is the service interval, while all other European /Japanese cars have service interval of 1 year, Harrier has service schedule of one every six months which is too much

I bought Tata Altroz 2022 dec and I should say that service is very laggy, we need to keep them pushing for every issue to get assessed and as he says mostly they say this issue is there for all altroz, but car is good to drive. Altroz petrol NA mileage is highway normal driving upto 22 mid average speed 70 to 80. Some push to the throttle Round 80 to 100 at time mileage is around 19

@@MrBalaparthi I did not look in to micro suv or compact sedan segment. I was looking only in hatchback segment and test driven Swift, i10, i20, Tiago and Altroz. I would say Swift engine was very good and responsive but the interior and quality is let down. Altroz petrol NA is good for normal driving and in city mode power won't lag much but still the power would be very linear don't expect any sudden surge and over taking in highway u might need to go till 2md gear and throttle up. But ride quality is Fantastic steering feedback is very good I would say. I service at Lakshmi tata omr and service is not good, u have to be behind them to get ur work done. I finished 2nd service last month and total bill was 84 (washer fluid).

Also there are some other cons : Touch screen would be kind of laggy and UI might restart at some times. Panel gaps are more in lot of places but thats TATA for you. Engine noise (not so loud) u might hear on lower speeds but past 70, noise is very low.not much of an issue. Ground clearance was not a problem atleast for now I did not hit any spead breaker. I have travelled with 4 people until now. I'm going to try PPS Tata service chrompet going forward to see if they can offer better service.

24 lakhs .. zero response steering, steering noise , hills la experience driver Venumnu solranga… 10k km la break-pad change … headlight visibility in night is worse ……. Service cost is expensive but service quality is below average …. No vanity mirror 😂😂😂 parking sensor after quality … system will hang every 1 hour 😂😂😂😂 …… miss ventilated seats … needs to improve major .. service, steering issue . Not quality finish …… rating engine 5/5; comfort for passenger 5/5 driver 2.5 to 3 out of 5 ; recommendation : not daily driven car … please prepare checklist only then vehicle will perform .. if no checklist is performed Don’t go Tata…. Front bumper broken in service … early service ( near to service many issue ) ready mindset we can buy … final my verdict : spend 24 lakhs if you are ready for war 😅😅😅😅😅

Tata and mahindra are not a first time buyer cars, the quality of the product and service should improve in a very large scale, having only build quality we cannot compromise on all the other aspects. To invest a huge amount of money you need to have a quality product with good service. In my opinion a person who has multiple cars and gonna buy tata / Mahindra for its macho looks can buy and have fun. Else Hyundai is a best option for its service. Even thou it doesn’t have the looks for tata and mahindra, you can still have a tension free life with the car.

Big fan of the car's road presence but i learnt steering is shit and also the TC Gearbox, definitely not gonna buy any tata cars. Good thing they did get fiat engine, nice platform, i wish they have bought the Hyundai DCT instead of their TC's again it depends upon the car. I am owning xuv500 W8 for 12 years , now decided to move to safari and waiting in couple ofday delivery. Mahindra quality of product is bad, 8 drove 250000km all engine pipes dummy all risted, doors rusting no quality dont look at quality of vehicle by owning just 2 to 3 yrs and dont say its fantastic. poor service . Atleast Tata has better built quality. And this Gentle man isvtrying the speed of 180km and he says breaking worning out fast. even you own landrover breakpad will worn out and you jave change frequently otherwise his life will get change. let us blame the prodcut.its not designed to drive for race. mahindra vehicle xuv is onow roll over. only difference between xuv and safari is0 .2litter difference but both generates same BHp. Hi Very bad car harrier for long run Idler failed as said and belt tensioner failed brake pad not coming even 7000 km in chennai by pass road travel. Now In 60K km the heat exchanger inside the AT gear box failed which never supposed to fail which is costing 6lacs now . They have no answer why it failed. Please avoid buying harrier as component failures are very high. Warranty does not mean all components should fail once warrant is over ?mine is XMA 2021 year.

Tata service is having the worst servicing team..we have Tata Hexa..the car has excellent & comfort..but the only negative part is when coming to service...the service ppl wont care about our complaints...they will just console us..not well trained service professionals and also not enough service centers..we need to book and wait for our car to get serviced..service cost is high..
