I know Sam works with WWE in the preshows, but Jesus you don't have to glaze them for a paycheck raise. Roman turning heel was great, but it's not the best because when he turned, the hero to beat him wasn't even back in the company yet. When Vince said "Bret screwed Bret", Austin had already stunned him before then, establishing heroes to fight the boss. Hogan turned heel and he had The Horsemen, Sting, Luger, The Giant to fight.

@@bigheadedm He was coasting in a safe place finally over as a face. But they had a bunch of dudes like Austin and Rock acting like cool heels but over as faces. Not easy to he a heel against and many didn't want to be or just couldn't be a serious heel. If he doesn't turn and break up the group which he was being perduaded not to then all those mega over faces have no real nemesis. In hindsight it makes a lot of sense - but back then he had a good thing going and it was a risk.

Honestly Roman turning heel, what I remember alot of fans saying was "about time" I don't know if it was mainstream but there was a sizable portion of the WWE audience who thought Roman was suffering from bad booking as a good guy. It was like when Vince wouldn't let rocky maivia turn heel initially even though the fans were chanting "die rocky die"

While I agree with the impact of the Bloodline. I still don't care about Roman Reigns as a character. Hogan forming the NWO bar none. Launched the most entertaining era of wrestling ever. Shawn Michaels kicked Marty Jennety through the window. Jericho throws Shawn into the Jericho-tron HHH spent the whole show trying to find out who attacked Shawn, and it was him. I have to completely DISAGREE. I feel that Roman’s reign (pun intended) was 3 years too long and I HATE So-SLOW Sikoa and his Menstrual Bloodline. Unfortunately the only thing that is keeping me from jumping to AEW is that I find nothing compelling about their stories and I am still hopeful that Hunter might have a plan but I’m praying for this whole thing to go off the rails because it’s probably being orchestrated by Rock the Dwayne and we can literally see what happens when he is in charge. Just look at Black Adam’s box office!!
