This is up there with Claw and Hoarder as one of the worst episodes. Generally any episode of Rick and Morty involving sperm or smut is bad.

I would say Claw and Hoarder is absolutely in a league of its own. The dating app episode is also worse than this in my opinion. All three were baffling, outlandish, crude, and full of jokes that didn't land...but this one held your attention with an actual premise, which can't be said about the other two.

When I saw the A.V. Club and KZbin blowing up about how this was the worst I was scared, because I knew how low the bar had been set by the dragon episode in season 4. Happily surprised tbh.

This was the definitely the worst episode especially due to the tryhard grossout humour that seems like it'd be fit on Santa Inc or some similar unfunny show, with the matching placcid social commentary to match. Honestly the social commentary was so cringeworthy it felt like something the show would be doing ironically I kept expecting a character to make fun of the dialogue.

The truth is that rick and morty is adapting the plot of the Japanese manga Doraemon to back to the future with a darker and more tailored version to suit American tastes. In the beginning it was good because it was new. It's the perfect blend of western sci-fi realism and Japanese manga. by playing with pop culture But all these fuels have been used up in the past 4seasons. It will end like Doraemon. That is, there is a series of specials that go on and on, but there is no real ending. Believe it or not, it's up to you.

My overall thoughts on this episode is that it's actually an ok episode. Rickdependence spray was kind of disgusting, but it's rick and morty. And it's an adult show, so I guess this stuff should have been seen coming. The president was a nice recurring character which is fun as always, and the animation with the action scene at the end was also fun to watch. Overall it was... ok. I mean it's not terrible, but they should really stop with the s*x related topics. I've noticed the worst rated episodes are usually one with those kinds of jokes.

The guy that wrote the episode is a social justice warrior that is also a writer for Saturday night live, and he obviously doesn't know enough science to write compelling science-fiction. This is why the episode leans so much on social issues, because that's all they know. . Hopefully they remove him from the writing team. Slowly critical theory and social justice zealots are destroying what I and others enjoy.

@@ComeWatchTV This episode's intro made laugh, how Morty was telling Rick to just trust labels, and how Morty said good, it's you fault, everything leading up to that was funny. Also, a giant incest baby. It's not their best episode, but it was still good in my opinion. It made me laugh a few times, so I would call it a funny episode. I don't think it deserves the hate it gets.
