@@jacenwade Fun fact, that is EXACTLY what Black Canary (Dinah) said the very first time she met Shiva in comics. Way back when, Shiva was in her dojo, and Dinah approached her for the first time and of course Shiva wanted to spar. Dinah was confident going in (she’s quite skilled herself obv). The fight started and Dinah couldn’t get close to Shiva let alone hit her, then Shiva dropped her with one hit with her left arm I believe. Dinah got up, attacked again, completely misses again, and Shiva drops her a second time. This all happened in 10 seconds ! The comic even tells you how much time passed it was very illustrative. Anyway, Dinah goes home and tells Ollie about the fight and says that sparring with Shiva for that short amount of time actually made her a better fighter, and that she had never seen someone so dedicated to martial arts, said Shiva treats it like an art.

Tigress didn't do anything wrong. She was just against someone that was absurdly stronger than her in martial arts. Shiva could even beat Batman in a fight.

@@thephoenix4093 That’s not true, Lady Shiva has beaten Batman more times than he has beaten her in comics. She is one of the very few characters who have a POSITIVE record against Batman in ALL comic history. IN FACT ! The times where Shiva have lost have all been because she was drugged or poisoned or triple teamed ! I can name and list every fight appearance if you want me to, I really can, just say the word. Hell I’ll even put the authors just so you know I’m not capping, I’ve got most of the books on my shelves anyway 😅

@@pariswebb5252 first of all all DC comics since golden age aside from the killing joke are canon second she doesn't have a winning streak if anything he is the one with the streak she broke it at some point but he is the one with it third point: bronze tiger and karate kid are better fighters than both of them but between them i think theyre almost equal but he is slightly better remember deathstroke's second name is world's greatest assasin shiva is rash's top assasin she serves rash when bruce was chosen to become him just beceause of his skill same for green arrow in the arrow show rash hasn't regonized the same type of skill with shiva. and yet i think she is a better fighter than rash but she is the fourth greatest fighter in DC the third is batman who mastered all martial arts and then there is cassandra cain who defeated shiva and spared her life to honor barbara's no kiling code that she got from batman but when batman asked cas not to hold back againts him that she doesn't have to do that with him he easily defeated her he even accidently did it too hard on her she got blood spilt off her, the second greatest martial martist is bronze tiger and the first is karate kid not the one from a movie but comics.

To be fair it was dark so paying attention to the whole body is hard. And having Infrared isn’t going to help In that case either cuz it’s body heat that can be seen which means the overlapping of the heat only allows you to see the top layer of that heat source. So having a leg raise up to your chest are can hide well half of your chest area. Basically covers half of your body.

Weirdly though in the comics Shiva and her sister did develop an almost inhuman ability to predict the opponent's movement in combat down to even the slightest twitch of a small muscle.

As right as all the "ackchyually" comments are regarding the gap in skill level, I still find it hilarious that you noticed how Shiva looked at Tigress' little knife thing, then straight-up stabbed her with it while Tigress focused on body language. Hey, for all we know Lady Shiva is so good that she knows when an opponent will ignore her telegraphing, so she'll let herself do it in those cases.

I really dislike that KZbin made the dislike button non functional. Mental health or whatever their real reason may be important, but so is accountability and letting someone know why their video shouldn't be liked. This is a stupid comparison. There are several reason why Artemis lost. 1 she isn't a cold blooded killer and wont take cheat shot or really injure someone like Shiva did to her. 2. As stated in other comment, Shiva is 1 of the top martial artist in DC. In Young Justice she took Deathstroke place in The League Of Shadows.

Lady Shiva is known for being the deadliest women alive being comparable to Batman in a sense. Only difference is gadgets and detective skills but if we are comparing combat, Lady Shiva is known to win against Batman.

I think the reason why Artemis was not able to take down Lady Shiva is because Lady Shiva knows a lot of more martial arts fighting style if Artemis have been trained by Batman she would have been undefeatable but she only trained with Black Canary and green arrow which is good not every character has multiple fighting styles

@@callingofcreation6420 don’t forget infrared sees heat signatures. So an overlap of heat can cover the what ever is under that overlap. Let’s say raising a the leg to the body like a martial artist battle stance. That leg can cover pretty much half of the body. So yeah. The fact that she said don’t just focus on the eyes u need to focus on the entire body just proves she’s right cuz she couldn’t see the entire body. How does this fight explain how she’s wrong about not focusing on the eyes alone but the entire body. Cuz hello Megan it’s fucking dark and as explained above. She’s right she might have stood a chance if she could see the whole body but in this case the only thing she can look at is the eyes. Which she technically lost. But ladyshiva is one of the greatest assassins in the dc universe so still being alive after fighting her is a win. She never lost in anyway way shape or form this video.
