Great video! Love my TAPS for the versatility and ability to mount it to a plate carrier or run it as a recce rig. Yes the bulk sucks but the capacity is great. The diffusers is something I did when I was in the service too!

Swap out the Velcro mag retention straps with bungee pull tabs several companies make them and they’re less than like $20 well worth it

@@parkerbrough3852 I’ve actually tired the bungee tabs before I made this review since they came with the Spiritus TAP upgrade kit! and for whatever reason I like the stock Velcro tabs more lol. I kinda despise bungee pull tabs in general, just my preference. but you’re totally right it’s really easy to upgrade over to those pull tabs! (And they look cooler)

Just ordered a traap, I’ve used the taps a lot and it works but it needs some updating. I’ve used the same set up that u got and it’s great. Btw the bottle cap defuser is brilliant

Just got the Midwest armour Hilo laser cut, upgraded trap earlier and comparable to the new Trex one, if you got anything specific want me to check can, and ask no my recent video where I received it. I don't have any ak mags though the Velcro will let you add whatever you want retention wise

I just searched that chest rig I have never seen it before. It looks like it could really fix a lot of the TAP’s issues while still maintaining its original design! like freeing up the side magazines and the internal pockets look like a big upgrade from the original TAP. Very cool piece of gear at that price. Thanks for sharing.
