This is assuming everyone who opposes Trump are "liberals," which is not the case at all. It's no question that nearly every single liberal opposes Trump. But there are plenty of people in the middle, even quite a few on the right, who are against him as well. I'm a moderate, who finds that the more honest and decent conservatives have a huge problem with him. Just the fact that he's been caught in an unprecedented number of outright lies, (not to even consider the extreme & unreasonable nature of some of his rhetoric) is enough for these people to have a hard time taking him seriously.

Colin was wrong about Roe v. Wade getting overturned, and we saw the Republicans get very cozy with the idea of making gay marriage illegal again. And let's not forget what happened on Jan 6th. Shit got way worse than he predicted it would. I think he's right that half of voters being treated like deplorables is a bad thing. And I love the guy, I listen to Sacred Symbols every week. So don't get me wrong. It's interesting to come back and see how adamant he was and then to see how he's softened more recently.

I just want to say that I really appreciate the discussion that we are having in the comment section. Normally the comment section on any video starts to flood with troll comments but you guys have kept it productive and thoughtful which is awesome! There's something I do want to address though in regards to a remark that I've seen more so other places than here which is that even though Trump supporters and voters aren't necessarily racists, they still voted for a racist and therefore they are still part of the problem. I think we all know that the "Trump is this and that..." stuff is mostly hyperbole. But let's operate under the assumption that it's not. Does that honestly still justify Hillary's negative traits as a candidate? I'm not using Hillary as an excuse I'm trying to point out this misconception that our leaders don't have flaws. No candidate is going to be perfect, no candidate is going to be a bastion of everything good in the world. There's always a compromise of taking the good with the bad. I find it personally disingenuous to continuously berate people who wanted Trump to win and trying to use that specific argument of "oh well you voted for racism. There's no if, and, or but about it." without applying that to their side. Why is that a valid argument above all else? What does voting for "so and so" say about you then "Mr. High and Mighty". Give me a break. Why don't you step off your high horse, look in the mirror and reflect on your choice first before attacking others for their's.
@joshuamatthew1328 жыл бұрын
Also let the record show that even IF Trump were a racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobe, (man that's a mouthful) that he still would have to deal with the rest of congress to push any semblance of his agenda and I guarantee you that most republicans don't feel the same way as you think Trump does. It'd be really hard to get them to agree to anything that might be considered as any of the negative adjectives above. Realistically that would be absolutely horrible for the republican party and they most likely wouldn't win another election ever again. It's literally self sabotage. Why ruin the rapport you've built with sound minded individuals with radical notions of social regression? Think people. Trump and the Reps aren't turning the US into nazi germany. Save your outcries for real threats to your freedoms. Not just supposed threats. Call me when our government actually does do something like that. In the meantime, I'll be paying attention to all the foreign threats that actually do want to take our freedom.

Colin was so intense leading up to him leaving KF. If you look back at older clips of him on C&G live, he seems happier, and like he fit in better at the company, and then in later clips like these he just seems more intense, and unhappy. It’s funny, at the time I didn’t notice his gradual attitude change, but when you look back at those older clips there’s quite a contrast between early-KF, and late-KF Colin.

Only thing I'd disagree with is that Mike Pence has no power. He has no power per se, but we don't know how active he'll be behind the scenes. The truth is that we have to idea what the Trump presidency will look like.
@joshuamatthew1328 жыл бұрын
I'll give you that sure. Although I would say it probably won't hurt if Trump has advisers/ people to help him make critical decisions. Considering his campaign trail and the inconsistencies in his statements, I would rather have him be on a leash. Maybe not have the leash holder be Mike Pence though.

Colin has said that voting for Trump was bad. Colin had such a bad case of TDS at one point he left the Republican party over Trump winning the nomination. They won't. This happens every election cycle it seems. People say they will move to Canada if so and so is elected but it's all bs. Canada ironically apparently has a pretty strict immigration policy. So for all those people that opposed building a wall or at the very least having secured borders will have fun going through that process up north. Funny how no one says "That's it, I moving to Mexico!" though.
@SotNist8 жыл бұрын
If you call someone fat, ugly etc long enough and often enough they start to believe, and their self esteem + self perception is altered and undermined. Yet, you can call completely normal people racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic etc and try to justify it with mental gymnastics for years? If you think people aren't either going to succumb to that abuse, or try to escape from that abusive relationship... then I guess you're the type of insane required to be an abuser in the first place.
