When a character is this good, you can play them any position. However if you were looking to put him in the anchor spot, I would definitely say you should know his sparking routes off head.

I've been playing my boi Trunks since season 1, and I have never understood nor listened to any downplay they spat around. I love Trunks because he had strong neutral tools and conversions on top of the flippies for extra sauce, but you could get cooked if you got caught over-committing. The possibility of him being a meta/top 5 character makes me kinda happy of having stuck by his side. From rags to riches I guess, just like Jiren (not really because Trunks was never bad but you know)

With certain teams he has a T.O.D. 5 meters. 4 meters if you can get the hits, but it's inconsistent.

Id say top 5 rn is trunks, vegito, baby, Gogeta and janemba. With Goku black, Zamasu, nappa, ss blue vegeta and ssj vegeta being super close and just under them in the top 10.

Trunks is 1 of the harder characters to play with. His flip combos can be difficult to execute, especially if your new to the game.
