Daima Goku having Blast Volley and not Super Kamehameha is insane 💀 Anyway, I'm sure I've made it clear in the past that my biggest problem with this game is that everything that is done is half-assed. From things like the Ultra-Supervillain concept (We have seen Fu cause different forms be achieved within like 5 minutes of his introduction with Goku and Vegeta reaching SSJ4 instead of Blue. Please stop with the titty crystal shadow monsters-) to things like the new lobby system. Edit: Ik they aren't changing from USVs at that point, but I'm just saying. It's kinda lame. The new Lobby system is great, but it'd be greater if I didn't have to leave a raid lobby to start another raid AND to check my damage progress 😡. They need to rework more base and old DLC characters too. Imagine them actually going back to edit the strings of Godku and Blueku or something.

Honestly, I’ve been over the console version of this game for a while now. The fact that our character is mute the entire time really takes away from the immersion. It would’ve been so much better if they gave our character voice lines, like they did in Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi. I hate how clunky the dlc stories are put in the game, random rifts lined up in the time nest with no explanations and then the missions are put on a robot npc next to 2 other robot npcs that do nothing instead of the fucking story select in the time nest, how hard is it to just make a seperate menu in there for dlc story levels Aleo yeah playing the dlc stories makes me realize how while the cgi cutsvenes are really cool it alzo completely disonnects me from the story bc my avatar literally cannot interact in the story anymore which is really lame

I think you also gotta realize that yes, while dimps is working on both xenoverse 2 and breakers, breakers is still developed by a different team in-house at bandai, not to mention that XV2 is an 8 year old game while Breakers just turned two years old not too long ago with season 7. There is probably a big massive bunch of spaghetti code that is multiple years old that the devs at dimps are too worried to touch, like the coconut in tf2.

The festival of universes and STP are by far the most offensive things implemented in the newer age of DBXV2. The festival of universes reminds me of the Conton city vote where the overwhelming majority flock to one thing so fast, that it makes it almost impossible for anything else to be added. Besides the very few cool new moves like the new God Punisher, (which in my opinion is the only one worth the grind) there isn’t really anything noteworthy that I would say is worth the absurd grind to get. Remember Violet Flash anyone? Cool animation, absolutely TRASH attack! My biggest issue with STP medals is that the rewards you get for them are not worth a damn. Sure it would make the leveling up grind less stressful, but buying these things in my opinion isn’t worth it. It really just feels like we grinding for things that should’ve been in the game from the start.

My biggest problem with the new updates is honestly the level system, While yes some builds did have one shot combos back then, but lvl 160 is so ridiculously unbalanced it's not even funny, it's so easy to have a build that just deletes your health in 2 seconds, the game was built on the lvl 99 balance, by increasing the level without further balancing just ruined the game for me

I completely agree with the points you are making, and i wish they would improve on those because i love xenoverse 2 but the things they've been doing have been keeping me from playing it for hours on end like i used to when the game was new, it feels like they are just pranking us by giving us reskins of old characters that were already in the game and just having new skills to make sure they make the perfect character, in my honest opinion chapter 2 of the future saga was mid at best, but then there's the fact when it comes to online pvp i just feel like i can't do anything because of how try hard it is, i was playing a casual game and i was having to SWEAT because of how bad the competitive this game is outside of ranked pvp, it just makes me sad that we have to resort to mod the game, sorry for the rant my guy, also you got a new sub dude :)

Dude if there's one thing I disagree with it's thinking Dragon Ball Heroes stuff won't fix Xenoverse 2. Yes Xenoverse 2 and Heroes are different like games but they're still using characters that are apart of the "Xenoverse canon" if you know what I mean. Like the Xenoverse is a universe. And even if they are using things from dragon ball online, they're still using the bare minimum. For example Dragon ball online had interesting characters like Tao Pai Pai X, Android 9, *FREAKING CELL X* Which would've been a perfect giant battle. Not to mention all the cool stuff that Heroes has. Sealas: The Fearsome Enforcer of Justice, Aeos: The Previous Supreme Kai of Time, The Demon Gods, Hearts, heck even The Crimson Masked Saiyan that you were showing off could've made the story 10x more interesting. And that's not even getting into the things they do with characters like Trunks, Fu, Chronoa, and especially Mira and Towa. Belmod in the game means that they have no excuse. The only reasonable argument that I heard was that he had no real fight choreography to base a move set off of. Then they added Belmod with even less source material and he has the most personality in the dlc pack. DB Legends story is one of the best part in the game and I think he would be a hype release all things considered.

Sometimes I wonder if the devs are *legally* unable to add quality of life and general improvements to the game, and were forced to make the stuff like spiky ssj hair for cacs exclusive to The Breakers due to some sort of contract or something. One thing I'll give XV over Breakers, amid a myriad of other moves: XV didn't get a FUCKING MULTI STEP, GACHA BANNER, in a PAID ENTRY GAME Actually another thing I'm gonna give XV - Even if the story progression isn't much when it comes to mission counts, THEY'RE STILL GIVING STORY UPDATES. Breakers, by comparison, hasn't had a SINGLE STORY UPDATE, since GINYU - FUCKING GINYU. Back when we had an inkling of an chance to progress the plot with two characters that could potentially help figuring out who/what was pulling the strings, and EVEN MORE EGREGIOUSLY they didn't include a STORY FOR ZAMASU - SOMEONE ELSE WHO *SPECIFICALLY* NOTES HOW HE'S BEEN "pulled through time" - WHY would they NOT give a STORY UPDATE, for a character that is AWARE OF THE EVENTS OCCURING AROUND THEM Someone has to do some deep digging to find out whether it's a DIMPS or BANDAI issue causing all of these issues for both Breakers and XV, because this sort of DOG WATER treatment of both titles shouldn't be allowed to go any further - but it likely WILL because the folks who will ride BanDIMPS 'til they're nothing but skeletons will keep feeding that machine

I agree with most of these points but don't diss my boy King Cold like that :(, he has it bad enough as is. Though, I will say that the way that they treat the movie villains such as S13, Bojack, Broly, Janemba, and Cooler (Why is he always metal now!) is terrible and they've been relagated as side villains that pad out the length of the DLC packs, and too of them don't have access to their final forms. Oh and don't get me started on how they used the plotline of Vegeta resisting Fu's mind control TWICE now as well. Also my boy Dabura has been treated really roughly too despite having the potential to be an incredible antagonist in this game where he can shine unlike the brainwashed counterpart in canon (Why does he only have that skin anyways, we see him without the Majin symbol in game in the DLC he was introduced in so why doesn't he appears there? There are other things I wish they did too such as Baby taking over Goku's body in the GT Vegeta mission or a different antagonist helping them in the tournament of power instead of Frieza (I have a lot more, I'm too tired to share.) Just because this isn't heroes doesn't mean that they can't be creative with the characters that they use in the DLCs, I'd much rather see Gohan or Goten Black instead of USV Goku Black. As for characters I'd want, Ribrianne's (Who is the goat as you perfectly summarized) teamates and their base forms. I'd also like Frieza's other forms as well, specifically the second one. I

Also in general i rlly dont like how daimaku has been handled in games, he’s already been put in xv2, sz, legends and dokkan but is literally only based on like episode up to 5 at most? Or deadass just trailer footage The more daima goes on the more lacking he looks in comparison, and while legends and dokkan are just gonna 10 other daimaku units to give him animations based on his later fights (the ssj energy aura thing from the training fight comes to mind) SZ and XV2 are stuck with dookie ass representations clearly rushed for promoting the anime Only to have ”the rest” come in later DLC

I disagree about some of the stuff you said about it Hero’s. More so I want that stuff because it would give new possible characters with new moves to possibly use along side new skills and clothing options. Imagine wearing a colorable version of DBH vegetas armor of goku clothes. Not to mention goku black and all the variants of clothes that cac’s can have. Only other thing that I definitely think we could at least have a few more transformations for non sayian races Give earthlings a swordsman transformation (based of the class in DBO) Namekians the yellow and orange form And if they wanted to maybe an absorption form that spits out the opponent and gives them different stats depending on the cac they absorb. (Minimal visual change tho guess just an eye color change Namekian = green Frieza = purple Majin = pink Earthing = blue Sayians = red Other then that I agree with everything else specially the capitalism bit. Also it’s funny you mention potora earrings since I was going to make a colorable potara/earring pack after the ultimate bandana pack is released.

One thing I'm not fond of is cast vs cac character balance I know that's unavoidable in the game that has a custom character but they could just give custom presents to every character to make them balance I'm fine with ui goku move set even though it's inaccurate as all hell it's competitive in the current game balance because some of the festival presets with their anime accurate moves don't really work out well but that's just my opinion

This game is actually horrible with updates and patches. I remember the YEAR LONG gap between Superhero packs 1 and 2. And from Superhero Pack 1 (The gammas) to Future Saga saga 1, there was a glitch with Goku Black and Broly’s super souls, where instead of increasing stamina recovery, the super souls gave all the stamina back. This glitch only happened in 2v2s and 3v3s, and other team modes, which basically made the game 1v1s, PQs, or raids for the longest time. It’s partly why I stopped playing this game altogether(Sparking Zero is mostly why I stopped) and the Future Saga packs are doing nothing to bring me back. Honestly, if this keeps up, Xenoverse 2 will probably just die out on a whimper, which sucks

Daima goku can go ssj and ssj 2. Not sure about ssj 3 but daima goku was definitely rushed. Maybe daima ssj and ssj 2 goku would be dlc. Also maybe your created character could have ssj and ssj 2 with the power pole as a transformation. Like if daima goku became a mentor your created saiyan character could learn those as transformations

If this is their send off then Dimps is definitely making sure that the game has a slow and painful death. Even the writing is trash. It’s just the same old Demon Realm magic, guy changing history, “stop him and change it back but don’t actually stop him cause this game doesn’t have enough dlc and we haven’t milked it for every last cent yet”. It’s nothing really new. It’s the same exact concept as it’s always been. Ultra Supervillains are supposed to be the strongest power up yet, and the design is so trash. It’s literally just a shadow on their person, on top of an overly complicated aura that’s just a recolored Super Saiyan 2 aura and a dumb ass Crystal poking out of their chest. Design is lame. They’re barely changed from their original appearance. The USV characters are just remixed versions of characters we’ve already paid for. They should really be free. It’s outrageous that Dimps expects us to pay for the same characters twice that *maybe have a new skill or two, and combo strings that are mostly copy/pasted with added flair to give off the illusion of being new combos to players that don’t know any better. These USV characters should’ve been free in my opinion cause they really don’t bring that much to the table and so far USV Vegeta is the only one that’s truly unique. I’ll give USV Goku Black a pass cause he’s actually fun. USV Jiren is a joke though. He has one new combo and one new skill. They barely even changed anything between him and regular FP Jiren. Plus they gave him vanilla skills without any changes. Just bare bones. Pathetic. Games gonna die if they keep this up but I guess it’s already been dead for a long time. Kinda sad but at the same time these devs are so money hungry and give us such half assed shit such as this and expect us to stay playing it. They went from one of the best updates, to the most trash update ever for this game. How could they drop the ball so hard? All they had to do was put more effort into USV Jiren and make it 5 characters like last time with more story. Nobody expected the DLC so soon. We would’ve been fine with waiting another month or two for Chapter 2 to be good. This DLC was just rushed

About the Paragus clothes, the crystal raid has npcs nearby wearing raid items that can be obtained but theres one of them wearing Paragus's cape but its not in the crystal raid rewards. Makes no sense why every item cant be in that mode.

These are just points I would like to put my thoughts on: At this point Bandai and Dimps have no excuse to rush or be lazy with the Future Saga Chapter 3 and 4 especially since it is most likely the case a lot of their workers were helping with SZ and should be back and working on XV2 again. I can agree that the cgi cutscenes ruin the immersion of the cac, they used to at least try to find a way to have the cac away from the cgi like in the U6 v U7 tournament, but our cac who was next to the group like in the recent dlc just suddenly vanishes and nowhere to be seen and Goku essentially takes credit from us again. Almost forgot to mention they have been doing the cgi cutscenes since the very first cutscene base game (Bardock vs Frieza) and the flaps are still atrocious. The besides the story, the only good things that were added to better XV2 in the Future Sage are the skills cacs get. Idc if Final Rampage is three skills combined, we finally got a variation of Final Flash since we already got 5 to 6 Kamehameha variations as Ultimates. I'm someone who does like to play Breakers and sure we get a lot of things that Xenoverse 2 doesn't, but at least Dimps pretends to care for XV2, while Breakers gets treated like the middle-child and gets jack shit despite how good the game could be if they just put in the effort, time, and money for it to succeed.

Xv2 is ready to be shut off at this point,the pvp has been broken for 7 years and isn't really showing any chance of improving,dlc is $20 for a few characters that you probably won't play after the initial testing phase,and then breakers which is supposed to be using the same assets has plenty of things that xv2 doesn't like certain outfits for custom characters or better yet hair physics and spikey super saiyan hair for all of the hairstyles. At this point we just gotta let other games run their course and hope for a more refined dragon ball game with custom characters to come out in the future
