In the same way that Olivera was INSANE with his BJJ but his standup was not world champion level at the beginning of his career, O'malley is INSANE standing but still needs a lot of work on the ground to be champ. Right now, he is not ready to beat Aljo, and maybe he rose too fast too soon for this challenge. But, he is young, talented, and a hard worker, and one day I have no doubt we will see him with the belt. Now might not be his time if he immediately gets the title shot, but this fighter deserves respect and has a very bright future.

Personally I think they are only trying to make sean a superstar so that that low weight division will have more big names for players in the future. He naturally has the charisma to be a superstar so why not push him and take your time with him. That way down the line, real elite prospects have big names to beat..
