I am from Nigeria, but i like Ugandans culture. It's one of the best cultures in the world. I am from a royal family, from Benin Kingdom Edo state Nigeria. and i believe we have the same culture. I will visit Uganda to explore more of their cultures, because we seems to have the same culture. God bless Uganda, and God bless the mother land of African. One love my people.

To my understanding this act of kneeling is done 'basically every day' only in Uganda and only in certain tribes, the Northern Ugandan Tribes that belong to the Nilo Ethnic group don't kneel, I don't think this is done in any other African country regularly like that, can anyone confirm?

I think people are misunderstanding here, in the Buganda culture( Uganda), a woman will kneel to greet or serve her elders or husband out of respect and culture. Its Natural. But that doesn't mean we're being demeaned or anything. My husband will still respect me and listen to me, I will work, drive do everything and still be respected in the society. Femininity is in our nature.

If your going to marry a Ugandan lady learn her culture, teach your children because you will be close with her family also and part of the Ugandan community. True, God above all. But under the context of your comment. You bring up their culture of which they are still practising all the best for them. But kinda wonder why most Kenyans don't really have their cultures or rather practice it anymore wonder if Kenyans are that westernised.

@@marcuselvin3368 every society go through evolution, even some EU left some of their cultures. So if Uganda have all their traditions why do i see3 you dressed up like EU, excuse for nonsense it a culture of treating women like inferior being, i am a Kenyan and i did International Social Intergration and as i say even white had some habits they left out, so we arent copying anyone only we are growing and we are able to choose what we incorparate in our society and what to leave .....for betterment and equality of human being ....we get women in all sectors, i think the men should kneel for women who has alot of load and responsibilities

Kneeling by both genders, where am from, is a preserve for submission when Praying to our Almighty God mainly and not before any human being. However, I do admire and respect Buganda culture that maintains the tradition by their women. Most recently, I once watched a young Beautiful lady government minister most recently kneel before a traditional leader. That was quite an admirable gesture

I can’t lie, if a female as beautiful and sexy as joanita was to kneel to me, she would get everything she wants.😍😍😍😍 it’s a show of respect in their culture but also a way to sway a MAN into a certain submission to a WOMAN. I like it. I REALLY LIKE IT because it will make you feel a certain respect and honor as a MAN. I dig that concept, but if she was my woman/wife, I wouldn’t want her to kneel to every man outside of my self. Elders, MAYBE, But not every man she associate with. I feel it should be an exclusive thing to only her companion and only ELDERS.🙃
