Football culture is beautiful. Fuck all those "sit at home/tv fans" complaining about passionate fans and pretending to be real fans themselves. People unite under the banner of their club. Brotherhood, unity, friendship, passion and pride. Some values that a lot of people lack. Fuck the fans abandoning their local clubs because they are not good enough etc. Be proud of where you come from and the football club you grew up with. It's more than just a game and the Ultras are the heart of it.

In modern times, the line has become very thin separating them. No one can be blamed for the acts of an individual but in prosecuting hooligans, non-violent Ultras are being caught

1:46 I can’t believe I just NOW come across this video. I’m proud to say I’m part of the this Supporters Group from Seattle, the Emerald City Supporters. I was actually part of the leadership of one of the Sub-Groups called ASG (Armed Services Group). Absolute best time of my life. I had to step down from leadership when I moved back home to Germany in September 2016 (lived in WA for 20+ years), but I made a promise to fly wherever I needed to, should we make it to the MLS Cup Final. I was on the plane to Toronto in December that same year and we brought the Cup to Seattle. Besides my wedding and the birth of our son, the best day(s) of my life. The morning of the match we actually got to say hello to the team in their hotel lobby and I remember coach Schmetzer walking up to me and say “You actually flew out here from Germany.” My responds was “I promised, didn’t I?” I was on the phone with my son while the hotel lobby and Nelson Valdez actually took the time to talk to him on his way to breakfast. Valdez was my son’s favorite player at the time, because he had previously played for our German Club Borussia Dortmund. See, the fantastic thing about the MLS is (I hope it’s still that way), that the players are VERY interactive with their fans. Especially the Supporters Groups and that goes for pretty much every MLS team. Luckily I booked a stop in Seattle on the way back to see friends and I was able to be part of the celebration parade. There is a lot of controversy surrounding Portuguese football atm and a big part of it is due to the Ultras (mainly Benfica's No Name Boys, Porto's Super Dragões and Sporting's Juve Leo). As always, they have been associated with violence: an Italian who was with Sporting's ultras was killed by Benfica's ultras after conflicts at dawn and, perhaps one of the most violent teams in Europe (Canelas 2010), is linked with Porto's ultras. This has led to people questioning their legitimacy in our beautiful game (which is turning uglier every day)

The portuguese ultra scene is just bad compared to the other countries because people here just don't support their local team. 95% of football fans in Portugal love one of 3 clubs (Sporting Benfica & porto). The most are not even true ultras, cause the word ultra means defending your territory. How can people defend their city if they are supporting clubs from other cities? It's just stupid that they even call themselves ultras.

great video, but you got a very wrong fact. ATALANTA's supporters are apolitical, and we've been like that for over a decade so far. We used to have left wing groups (like Brigate Neroazzurre) and right wing groups (like Wild Kaos) but now only one group remains, the "Dell'Atalanta supporters" which hold the Curva Nord and don't express any political view. We have a rivalry with almost every Italian club except very few, and with Lazio in particular for their use of knives when attacking other Ultras. Livorno on the other hand are clearly communist/antifascist

At my club (Feyenoord Rotterdam): Pyro = 8/10 Noise = 9,5/10 Drums = None Megaphone = None TIFO = 9,5/10 ( we have TIFO before every match ) Flags = 7/10 Banners = 10/10 Loyalty = 10/10 Stadium Buildup = 9/10 Overall Atmosphere = 9/10 Chants = 10/10 C'mon Copa90, we're by far the biggest hooligan/ultra group you haven't covered. TIFO before every game, extreme noise. our stadium shakes when we score. it's not just one section or stand, it's the entire stadium.

(het is natuurlijk niet de bedoeling dat je eerder weggaat) maar als je als meest succesvolle club uit de grootste stad in nederland met ook nog aanhang in Zaandam, Haarlem, Leiden en andere omringende steden hebt zou je het stadion wel vol moeten krijgen. dat is bij jullie bijna niet gebeurd bij eredivisie wedstrijden dit jaar. als het wat minder gaat komt er niemand, terwijl dat juist de periodes zijn waarin je je team moet steunen. Feyenoord (support) is vergelijkbaar met dat van Engeland en Schotland (met name Liverpool en Celtic) door Engelse spreekkoren/liedjes, zelf het lawaai maken, etc. Met alle respect, maar de enige Ajacieden die zingen zijn de supporters aan de F-Side

Athmosphere and chants are great, important and a great aspect in football, but remember that every ultras is full of criminals and hulligans who wants to just fight and dont even care about the clubs.. I have a friend in an Ultra and he doesnt even know who plays for that team.. he just goes there to argue and fight.
