Very convincing demo to encourage me training with only two colours. Thanks a lot ois

Great information. I have used raw sienna and ultramarine blue in the past and was very surprised at what I got. Thanks for the info.

Very interesting and inspiring, I will try this! One of my favourite combinations for mixing black is a slightly more vibrant version of yours: Daniel Smith’s Indanthrone Blue and Quin Burnt Orange - this could make a very good limited palette as the range of mixes is amazing, from cool greys to warm browns.

I loved what Louis demonstrated, and appreciate your recommendation a lot too! Thank you I will try that combination! I think I need to practice and experiment this 2 colours approach, Exciting!! As too many colours also bring distractions in the painting process. And this provides one to work more on tonal values, as Louis explained. Thank you both 🙏 Greetings from Portugal

I love using perylene green with raw sienna or lavender. Also burnt umber next to buff titanium and sepia with zirconium. Favourite black mix is ultramarine with burnt sienna. I love love limited palettes!😊
