Why Velocidrone Is THE BEST FPV Simulator

This video is why Velocidrone is the best FPV sim in my opinion.
Sims are a helpful tool, and one could argue that they are necessary for race pilots. So I made this video to go over the Velocidrone and why I think it's the best simulator.

@@definingslawek4731 Yes fells less floaty indeed. I though I could fly ok on drl and liftoff but when I moved to velocidrone I noticed that I had to pay more attention to my throttle a lot more to not hit the ground on Multigp tracks. Velocidrone is worth the money in my opinion, most of the fast racers where I'm from use it for practice as well.

@@definingslawek4731 I feel like velocidrone feels way more floaty then Liftoff, probably my settings in Liftoff are spoton whereas the ones in Velocidrone are not. For me the choice is simple: Racer? Velocidrone, Freestyler: Liftoff

Sorry for the late reply! No, there isn’t, but I do believe velocidrone allows returns if you don’t like the sim.

I find velosidrone to be incredibly difficult. Doesn't it seem like the drones are the size of a person trying to fly it through hoops that are way too small? From the drone footage I watch it doesn't seem like that with real drone. I can barley fly through a hoop and can not make the tight turns into another hoop for the life of me.

I am able to do the turns after a few attempts but you're right lol, I didn't know how to articulate it before but I agree that it seems the drone is too big lol. Maybe it's just camera FOV. I'll check how to increase it.

Default rates are 6x too high. Divide your pitch, roll, and yaw Rates by 6 and try again. get out the calculator. Then tweak your unmodified Super rate up by 0.01 at a time until you get it to where you like on each. Always go up or down by 0.01. Super rate controls the expoential increase as you near the edge of the stick in that axis.

Drone racing is really really hard at first. Out of trying several sims this is by far the most realistic racing simulator on the market

You tweak it to your quadcopter feel if you like. Or simply take it as another quad you're flying, that is fine. The game by default is as accurate to as it can be.

It is also a simulator, I personally think it's more fun than velocidrone, but I do think velocidrones physics feel more accurate. Still, even velocidrone feels floatey and not quite like a real quad to me.
