I started early in September and posted several videos, but never got more than 2 subscribers or 7 10 likes for the videos. They were not short videos and I had seen another woman around my age posting similar content with instant traction. It was just so frustrating because I didn’t use editing or thumbnails and recorded and posted quickly. Nothing. I’m still working on videos, as I still have less than 10 uploaded, but I admit I’m stopped. I was always the person nobody listened to in my family and at work, and I feel like it is still the same, despite how “authentic” I am. Still nobody wishes to listen to me. So this is holding me back. Every time I complain about this online, someone gives me advice instead of support and I feel more stressed and confused.

I have noticed that youtube is not easy, it can be really frustrating that no one finds the videos. Some of my videos get hundreds if not thousands of views but some gets maybe 40 views. I just dont get it why. I am optimizing the titles and descriptions and choosing topics that I want to make videos about, but then I try to confirm it just by searching for similar videos and titles on youtube. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. But I am sure that if you do what you love and discuss topics that are important for you, there will be an audience! Just dont give up! You got this!
