We are so lucky to have a public Waldorf Inspired school here in Sacramento where my daughter is now attending. We LOVE it!!!! Such an amazing way to educate children.

I am extremely interested in becoming a Waldorf teacher. I can only imagine how peaceful our world would be if public schools taught this way....

It is a blessing when you find a teacher you cares deeply for your child's learning and overall being. Many families can't pay for a private education. Unfortunately, Walfdorf falls into the private category and is not an option for everyone. Don't give up, there are teachers in other schools which follow a similar model. All children deserve an education in a school who cares for them deeply.

A beautiful testament to the power of education that treats children as amazing talented beings to be inspired.

Interesting to hear parent, teacher, alumni, Waldorf experts ideas and impressions of Waldorf Education. An inspiration for those who might consider it. I will tell the parents in my class about this.

This is such a beautiful video. I love the concept of a Waldorf education. In my eyes, it's the ideal for our three year old daughter. She has such a bright spirit with a unique sense of curiosity that may place her in a bewildering position in public school. Unfortunately, there's no way in the world that we could ever afford to send her a Waldorf school. For those of you who can, please know that you have a wonderful opportunity for your child. Please don't take it for granted.

"Love is higher than opinion. If people love one another the most varied opinions can be reconcilied - thus one of the most important task for humankind today and in the future is that we should learn to live together and understand one another. If this human being is not achieved, all talk of development is empty." -Rudolph Steiner Well duh is the most obvious thing in the entire universe, love is the primarly force that makes people to EVOLVE with the whole planet!!!!! having taught State schools and schools in foreign countries I at last became a Steiner/Waldorf teacher. At last! A system which acknowledges each child's unique potential and expands his/her capacities. I have written a substantial Steiner/Waldorf teachers'handbook called TEACH THE CHILD IN LOVE and am now looking at how to publish it. Can anyone help please?

I would love to put my son to school like this but I don't have the finances to do that. I think normal schools are not doing enough for our kids. It's just a place where they are locked up to keep them off the streets. Why can't we choose how to use public money to pick school for our children??? Our children are not tough any instruments at school anymore they. My son knows more from me than his teacher. He hates school. Wade school looks like a dream. I wish I could be rich and put him there. Sniff sniff.

you dont have to be rich to create such an environment for your kids to learn. all you need is a REAL sense of community and you and your neighbors can make it happen.

Have you contacted any schools around you, I know in the UK schools try very hard to bridge financial gaps as it was a priority of Steiner to make the schools inclusive and available to anyone who was willing and enthusiastic! Good luck x
