Warface is a fair enough game based on skills and don't even put a have too on buying micro transactions and even if you buy kredits. It'll go a long way man. But them crown rewards you can't buy. You gotta be rare items + if you got crazy MG guys. But all my best weapons wasn't paid for. I'm worried rho they don't got the Houston or Miami. Servers up idk why I've took a 3 month rpg itch break but i came back. And I'm worried because can't look it up in Xbox no store missing fuck face features I worry

Been playing it for over 2 months now: the difference between a F2P player and a P2W player is pretty egregious and laughable. There a Rifleman guns with 60+ bullet mags, highest damage out of all Automatic Rifles, accuracy of a Sniper Rifle and no recoil turning them into literal laser guns.

I was playing Warface since 2017, and they did remove or change maps that i really did enjoy and now there are only 3 Tdm maps. I actually preferred getting XP to unlock a weapon, armor and attachments. Getting certain amount of XP for a weapon was a achievement for me, i only got like 33/50+ weapons before the battlepass update in 2021 or 2022. But before the battle pass update i was like lvl 60 with 100k cash and 1-2k crowns, after the update i am lvl 100+ and sitting on 600k cash and 50k crowns from the lvl up rewards. 2017 was a great year for 9 year old me enjoying Warface after school.

One thing they did was give all players permeant utility, smokes, flashes and nades. Helps a lot with the other game modes other then tdm. Before you only got them via spending real world money and even then you could use them only a few times.

@@minhajik4088 Not sure either, but before you needed to go to the item shop. Press on item shop and "open item shop". See what it says there. I know that before you could buy random boxes with Warface money. You could win nades there as well, although it was more conmon to win a gun.

I've playing this game since 2014 and i must say it has become something unplayable sometimes, since it began to be p2w, empty lobbies, toxic players, hacks, etc. I also used to play a lot of pve and nowadays it's impossible to find a 5 stack lobby. Back when i played more often, people used to do clan wars, I'm afraid that warface is not the same as it was, even though there are a lot of improvements, it's such a pity.

Playerbase is one thing (lack of players), but it's sad that they got into pw2 even more and cheaters in the game, which seems to be such a problem in both new and old fps games nowadays. Warface deserves better than that.

I'm happy to see it's still alive. I used to play this game for hours, doing PvE and guild wars. I was one of the best on my guild, all while being free to play ( the game always had all the stuff available for f2p players but you could only buy stuff for a week max, so you had to play everyday to be able to pay for your stuff next week) not that i really minded because the PvE was really fun and you had to think about tactics to beat the game with your teammates.

Imo Warface is currently doing better for me than games like COD or Siege just because it mostly works. I would like to see a bigger update regarding better graphics, some new and actually thought through spec ops for the story. Unlike the new Rift:Infiltration map. Balancingwise I think they did pretty well with the mod system so you can play older weapons again. What I dont like that they brought Akimbo weapons into the game and made almost all of the old snipers useless. With the new Ranked system i am kinda 50/50 because nothing really changed and you cant get the old banners anymore. But all in all if they'd do some minor/ major balancing changes regarding weapons/armor and added some new story elements the game would be a 10/10. Now it is only a 6/10.

I believe you're making a very "sound" analysis of the situation, both when it comes to Warface, but also in comparison with other similar shooters, since some of the modern shooters has falws and bugs at launch that seems take ages to fix...Yes, I would also like to see a kind of an overhaul of Warface. I believe that would be of interest not only to old players, but also a new audience that are tired of triple A titles that doesn't deliver a 100% experience after paying like 70 bucks or more :)

Engine upgrade is needed for this game, Warface 2.0. The visuals and the slow clunky movement has to be changed but the fast and smooth gunplay can stay the same or at least similar. Getting rid of the old p2w elements would be great too. Nobody will miss that. This is what this game is in need of.

Another sad thing is that its acctually only 2 maps on tdm since 2 of them are the same map but reskinned and all my favourites are gone. "Lets remove all the fun maps and only keep the two smallest, or acctually add a reskin to one of them and say its a different map." -devs

Not sure how the devs think about the future of Warface. It also seems as if the community got spit "into half" after they separated the player base by separating West and Russian servers. I tried to play the game again after making this video, and I couldn't get into a game any longer.

I tried playing the game a couple years ago, and back then it was horrible since everything felt extremely pay-to-win, having to pay just to even have good weapons. Is this still an issue? Thanks for your comment! I believe what you're describing has partly been an issue for a long time, when it comes to the feeling of pay to win in Warface. Personally, I have never spent a dime in the game, but managed to do pretty well anyways, so I do believe that it's possible to both do well and have fun with Warface without buying stuff. I can't really tell though if the situation has become better or worse with time. I wish that someone that has played the game on a consistent basis, could fill in here...As far as I know the, the weapon repair is still in the game. I would like to see this go away, since it makes the weapon grind even slower etc.

Weapon repair is still existant. Pay to win is stronger than ever. Nearly every update implements a reskin of a weapon but with bloated stats. f2p weapons are outdated and inferior. Current assault rifles do 90+ damage with ~650 to 700 rpm compared to the older ~600rpm and 70 to 84 dmg and with lower body damage multipliers. Meta p2w have multipliers of 1,0 or more compared to 0,7, 0,8 and maybe some 0,9 with the exception of the ak103. Dont forget the p2w armor

Yes and no. With weapon modding available on some of the old top tier guns like AK Alpha, Kriss Super V Custom, CDX Kraken you can make do with being a free to play account. Best armour can be bought with wf$. On another note yes it still is p2w in a way but its not entirely one sided.

@@40splishsplash It's not really thoughts its facts. Once you get out of the newbie channels and into "Professional Channel 0X" things change completely. That's the problem with people making content for warface as it is quite fun and easy to get into but once you get thrown in with gen pop you realise how messed up it really is. Now I'm not saying that as a F2P player cannot make it work. They 100% can but you have that element of people throwing 20$ at the game and all of a sudden you have best weapons... For about a month that is. The game itself is well worth it to get used to it and like I said you can make it by being completely F2P its just that the grind will be so much longer. They are moving in the right direction tho in regards to F2P players most battlepasses have reasonable rewards without having to buy them, like armour sets for example. There is something you have to consider. The further you go the worse it gets. The game is still great and I love it but even myself after roughly 4k hours cant stand whats happening to it. That being said I'd love to see a follow up video to this once you get past rank 26 and go up against gen pop.

It is a very good free FPS game. I love to play it from time to time since 5 years back. WF is missing a good promotion once a year in the West, rather than only in Russia! So many people are missing this game due to heavily promoted other games! Simple, yet very enjoyable but not fast enough for new generation! WF is one of the FPS games get closest to a real life action... minus the SED. But, movements, weapons and gears are simple as in real life. I think anyone who is into FPS, try it at least once.

I started playing this game because I couldn't afford games like CoD or BF. While at its core its a fun shooter with solid gunplay but it is over shadowed by the terrible progression system, pay to win elements and predatory micro transactions. They keep saying the new weapon crafting/upgrade system is meant to be an alternative avenue for free to play players but you quickly see the grind is made intentionally difficult to make you pull out your wallet. The repair system for weapons and armor is another prime example of this. Yes, you can repair your gear for in-game currency but your winnings after a match are not nearly enough to cover it. Everything about this game is designed to try and get you to shell out cash. I'd rather support a game buying weapon and operator skin bundles than what the current model is.

Although you can spend to get good guns quick, you can still compete as f2p with modded guns such as the kraken kriss super and ak alpha, i got the one shot mod for the kraken, and it can definetely compare with p2w snipers

p2w is worse now than ever, but you can play competitive faceit matches that has no p2w armor/weapons, vanilla meta (unlock gear/weapons) and other metas that are not p2w, the best part about faceit in warface is its friendly to newer players and not some super big sweat fest, i would really recommend everyone that want to play w/o bullshit and want to learn to play the game properly (sort of) in a competitive way as it is so unique unlike 99% of other shooters

Warface is better than COD in my opinion, the only thing I don't like is that it's p2w, knives don't count because it doesn't deal extra damage, the good weapons cost $10, and they're only a green and sometimes blue rarities. But overall if they add more easy and hard PVE maps then I'd be okay with that.

As someone who played warface since it came out i just want to say that it was much more funny expirience back then. Game was just faster and was not so sniper-dominated back then. I know that they had to make it slower cause of shitty netcode but it doesnt rly helped a lot but make game less dynamic. Anyways I feel like the biggest problem of this game is greedy mailru who doesnt care about players opinions and feelings. I enjoyed this game a lot i was loyal to it af but i often felt betrayed. They make bad decisions, they force u to buy a donate weapon every month or so or you will be dominated by others. But after all of that i dont feel like warface has a good competion right now, esp in a free to play shooters. The biggest advantage warface had over call of duty or bf is you can play it for 10 years and it still has a fanbase it still has not only old players and still gettin new content after all this years and you dont need to buy new game every couple years and start from scratch.

I can see a "red thread" when it comes to comments from players, especially guys like you that has played the game for a long time...And that is the feeling of being pushed or forced to buy a new meta weapon to stay on course (being competitive). It's kind of sad that Warface got onto that path. Even though I haven't played the game on a consistent basis, I did play the game from the start, and there has indeed been changes made in the game since then, that hasn't been so beneficial for the growth, but also the well being of the already existing community. Shows again how important it is that there's a good connection between the development team and the actual players. Sure, they can't listen to all suggestions or complaints, but I do believe that it can increase the chances to stay on a more steady course compared to if they just do what they think might be right or the best option to make more money(!) with the game.

@@kegleo The older/first ones is from China then russia, I watched the newer videos the newer guns(skins) of the older servers are just skins. I have a Legendary tier(the skin is rarer than rare) Famas but the gun sucks, my highest KDA gun is actually skinless M16A4 which is a 17k stock gun, and you earn 4k currency a day too if you finish the daily missions. As for publishers, I'm actually quite good at telling if this will become P2W or has FOMO systems/events in the future. Not saying Battle Teams 2 has no FOMO events but for now it's definitely not P2W. I will not be too disappointed if it becomes P2W tho, the features are just bare bones or as the vid said, less is more but minus the P2W, lagg, FOMO and maybe other stuff.

i remember times when Gold Vector custom was considered OP smg those were some good times when best paying spec ops was Blackout. now they removed some spec ops redone pve and some weapons are just insane. for pve i mostly use HK 121 MG5 for pvp i have G36 assault as sniper i use moded Kar98 and as engi i have moded Steath pistol smg with the new ranked store armor and i cant remember its name rn but having riffleman with 340 armor witch is more than a SED. i also remember when they first addes SED ant it was the most OP shit you could play now it is a total JOKE

Interesting that you're making this comment now, since I just a few days a go re-downloaded Warface again, in order to make a kind of "follow up" video...But now I can't get into any matches at all! I know that they separated the servers when it comes to Russia and the rest of the world, using different launchers and the game for us living outside of Russia, is now called Warface International. But that change (if I got it right), took place at the end of last year, if I've understood it right. Because when I did this video, I was still able to get into lobbies with very little problems or wait time. But now..? Guess we need a way to play it on the Russian servers if we gonna find players.

I was told to stay away from this game. There are aim hack cheaters that suspiciously WARFACE will not approach. They were right. 1) You'll see it when their extremely high.K's almost matches their headshot numbers on the scoreboard. 2) You'll hint it when the opposing team has pushed all the way to your spawning spot. 3) They will jump into the open or slide with multiple head shots. When you report during game nothing is done almost like they're in immunity with the company. I decided to pass this game altogether and stick to the other ones that care about player experience

Unfortunately there's cheaters (more or less), in most fps games nowadays. Warface is no exception. But since that is a fact, what matters is what the industry are doing to prevent it or at least do when it comes to making it harder to cheat, alongside with banning cheaters. And it's extremely unfortunate and bad if they don't put some serious work and effort into a game such as Warface as well, when it comes to punishing cheaters. There is a tendency that older games are a bit "left behind", when it comes this. There are some exceptions, when it comes to older games where there's a good anti-cheat system and furthermore, actions being taken when cheaters are detected. But it's quite rare.

Warface has the potential to be the best fps out here. The only problem I see is .... wait for it..... Hackers! The game balance is a bit off. Factor in Wall Hackers and Aimboters and there in lies the problem. The graphics are pretty good. The movement is smooth. The overall look is up there. If the devs want to see the game surpass cod and ever fork knife, they have got to start penalizing and banning cheaters. I'm an OG Gamer with a ton of friends who just left cod and bored af with fortnite. I told them about Warface and they started playing, and most agreed that the game is awesome.., cept for the obvious rats 🐀. I love ranked vs, but at least one or two rats are in ever match/game. Cmon!, 70 kills 5 deaths?? Shooting through a car, fence, and RV!?. Focus on getting the rats out, and I'll declare Warface the best fps ever.

This game is not worth playing anymore. It used to be fun, with cool guns between 2014-2019 and was also 100% free to play , not pay to win. From 2018 til now it got fkt badly with insane pay to win gambling, after all the profit they made, they didnt even bother to improve the game. It became only worse with less smooth movement. In the clip it looks cool cus hes playing with low level oponents , not the good armors , no good weapons. After you meet the pay to win guys with the levels you ll get what i talk about. Interrnational server is really quiet , russian server over 20000 people, so its hard to find a match sometimes on international server while in russia you find it instantly.

Hi, I'm the one who made it "look cool shooting low level players":) Jokes aside, I know what you mean since I've played then game from the start on and off, and I've also been running into high level players (or should I say high armor and pw2 weapon players), and even though I get into a situation where I outgun that player, I can hardly knock him down due to the armor. It's a bit sad to see that kind of development alongside with the pw2 situation. However, when I made this video, I could still easily get into matches almost any time during the day. Sure, all of them wasn't full lobbies, but I could play and have some fun, also for the sake of this video. But I wanted to make a kind of follow up video the other day, so I downloaded Warface again, and now I can't get into a match at all!? Is this due to the update separating Russian servers from international servers, or is it something else?

Ru server is Russian warface and international is all servers together joined exept ru. Russian warface is only in russian language, cant even select english there. The PvP is unbalanced,but PvE with the right people is actually a blast. Though I do try my best in PvP a couple times so I can finish challenges and contacts. I don't care if I win or not. I just play it for the xp. I played spec ops with a friend of mine and it's actually pretty darn fun if you play with the right people. I like the new modding system for your weapons,although paying money speeds up the grind,I always felt like there isn't much you can do besides attachments. But now we have perk like upgrades for your weapons. The gunplay is solid,the co-op is fun,weapons feel good to use and you can grind for alot of good stuff without even spending a dime. In conclusion,the game itself has the potential to rise up as one of the best free to play games on pc and console. I just wish that the devs would add more balance to PvP and make their bundles exclusively revolving around cosmetics instead of getting these overpowered gold weapons that can 2-shot anywhere in the body. And ffs there is no need for another separate game. Screw Breakout,just add an update that overhauls the game into a much better version of itself. Simple.

I definitely agree that the Pvp needs to be balanced, the Pvp aspect of the game, was at least in my opinion better some years ago. Alongside with a look into the multiplayer, the devs also needs to just focus on "cosmetic bundles" instead of anything that can give a player the upper hand by purchasing a variant of a gun (p2w situation). I can also imagine that Pve can be quite fun when playing with friends, being able to communicate and laugh a bit together when playing :)

Tbh ive been playing for almost 6 yrs now. Im on xbox and its going downhill. Poor connection, toxic player base, the p2w is incredibly ridiculous with people running weapons that 1 tap you from any range. Sniper class is unusable with new OP armors, medic class cant keep up due to bad server issues, constant crashes, getting disconnected from ranked games then getting bans from getting disconnected. Its a rough game but to each their own.

well...l have 300+ hours in it before MyGames took over. during that time my Warface account got deleted by mistake on behalf of MyGames and I had alot of stuff I grinded for or even spent a bit money on. I tried to play the new version but it's imo just awful. everything got expensive and I got the feeling that on the EU servers there are nearly no players. The cosmetics got just overall goofy which killed the vibe this game had to me. Also the inclusion of these obviously half naked woman as Player model is just oversexualized and boring imo. They jumped on that train and became your average Steam F2P title that secretly tries to rip you off if you haven't purchased weapons etc. permanently beforehand when Crytec was still in charge. I mean, try it if you want. It's for free but Imo you are better of with games such as Bf3, Bf4, Bf1, Bfv, CsGo etc. Just my observation + opinion.

I understand what you're describing, since I also thought that Warface was a more solid game some years ago. At first I thought that my memory was playing tricks with me(!), since there were things in the game, both when it comes to cosmetics, but also gameplay wise, that wasn't in the game before (a few years ago). And you are right, the half naked female player model, seems a bit "outdated" or not so political correct in 2023. Although I've seen the same in other similar shooters (for example Black Squad). @@ExImHaydo Ok. As you probably understand, getting better at a fps game or fps games, has a lot to do with experience. When I say that I'm mainly thinking about aim, movement, positioning, map knowledge, and the ability to "read" the game, meaning where enemies are most likely spawning or moving on the map. Some of these things are something that you can work with on a daily basis. Getting a better aim is one of those things, becoming more persistent with your shots. If you're playing on PC, you can for example download free to play games such as Aim Lab, that can help out when it comes to improving your aim. Playing against bots in your favourite game (or another game), starting off with easy, or normal, and working your way up, is also a good way to improve. Maybe also 1v1 with a friend? Sometimes it's also good to stick with teammates (at least one or two), when starting to play a shooters, since you can get some help or support, instead of running around by yourself before you've built up your skills and also your confidence. You might also learn a thing or two, when watching a good player, playing the same game as you are. Well, I hope these small tips can help you starting to improve, and therefore enjoy the game even more :)

I've covered similar titles (also newer), that has far less players on average. And yes, the competition is hard, even though some of the newer titles hasn't been doing that well. But yeah, PC players in general are quite picky(!), and there's a lot to choose from...But I'm also thinking about Warzone 2.0 and Modern warfare 2 in general, they've lost around 80 percent of their player base atm, but they've still managed to make some good money, which indicates that the dudes that are continuing to play the MW2/Warzone 2.0, are "money pigs", spending enough cash to make Activision happy. A bit "off topic", but interesting since we're talking about a so called triple A title.

But I also believe due to my own experiences through the years regarding Warface, that it's definitely possible to do well without paying for a single gun in the game. Unlocking by playing, at least it used to be like that earlier. iT depends on your skill level as well, to a certain extent. But I do agree that it's not only "cosmetics" in the game, the game was made in a period of time when way to many studios followed the example to "spice up" some guns that were behind pay walls. Not cool. Fortunately it's been less of that through the years, since people don't accept it. I hope if they ever decide to make an overhaul of Warface, (which I don't think will happen), or even a sequel or similar, that they've learned the lesson. Or maybe not :)

*warface is dead to us. a lot changed after the Russians took the game and after the SEDs came to the game. it has become completely P2W, with increased armor, damage-enhanced weapons, changes in strike sensation, ping problems, and the ability to select different servers. WARFACE has lost real bone players. i played from 2016 to 2021 before and after the Russians, some servers were closed and players could not continue with their accounts when they switched to a new server (such as Turkey server), they had to start again. there used to be a GFACE launcher and it was nice back then, now I just watch videos Decently. and we had a lot of work before, about 7000 hours, and I spent a lot of money. ELEZ had also quit the game as far as I knew.

I'm aware of some these changes you mention, but not all of them...It's a bit sad to read, since the game otherwise (maybe), could have continued to develop even further.

Thanks for saying! Sure, it's a bit controversial, but why not..? The newest Cod games haven't been that great, and there's been features missing from the start, alongside with bugs and performance problems, Not something you would expect when it comes to a triple A titles. That's why I believe games such as Warface and alike (free to play fps), are important, also since not everyone can afford 70 dollars a more for a Cod game :)
