I’m too risk adverse to lend money to an organization that is over 34 trillion dollars in debt.

All this tells me is that if the market goes down there is over $200 Billion in just ONE fund waiting to push the market back up again. Stonks only go up!

Yep. Exactly. Any dump will be bought up by these vultures. Means prices will ultimately bounce back. Just Hodl.

A housing market crash won't result in bargains for ordinary home buyers; it'll be a bonanza for big companies that have an ocean of cash. Right now, 1 out of 3 single family houses are sold to investors; during the coming crash, it may go as high as 2 out of 3, and the American Dream will be officially, finally, and irrevocably dead. So long, America, it was good to know ya.

Seems like it's been dead for awhile now. It's not going to get any better.. unless there is some sort of eventual revolution, we are just going deeper into enslavement

2% mortgages mean they can not buy what aint for sale. If you own it all outright, taxes, insurance and criminal alien squatters are their preferred way of stealing it.

All the investible asset classes are overbought--equities, precious metals, real estate. Investors have no where to go right now except bonds.

The prediction for tomorrow is "There will be a crash and I plan to be there to pick up the pieces and rebuild." Thank God somebody is planning for the future.

This is the time to protect your assets, as everything is so askew financially and economically, that the risks are too high. The volatility of everything concerning "money" is increasing, and failure (and loss) can happen very quickly. I took all of my money out of banks, except a small checking account and put half into Gold and Silver and the rest into 4 week US T Bills. I do also have a secret cash stash in case of banking/power/Internet interruptions. The 5.25% interest my T Bills are getting and the growing value of my Gold and Silver is sufficient until things stabilize to a more sane level, and as I have $3,800 of extra cash every month, inflation doesn't cause me any difficulties.

Small note: "investing in companies" is either direct or in an IPO. The secondary market of stocks is mostly... investing in the stock market, which is a pool of pure paper speculation - its psychology more than it is assets in motion.

Buffet can afford to hold cash. Average people cannot. Holding cash, even at 5.5% yield, is a strategy to get wiped out by inflation.

Not sure sitting on a mound of USD is much wiser than investing in our market that’s on the precipice. It won’t be an overnight thing but USD is against the wall with the blind fold on. They take those Russian assets and the international response going to be bad for our currency.

one of the greatest, but hasn't done that well in 5yrs+ 'cuz he ignored tech, which is over 33% of the S&P. Younger peeps look at Chamath, O'Leary, Cuban and non-boomers 'cuz value investing seems to be dead.
