You should feel very good right now about reccommending this stock a couple months ago. ULTA fits many, but not all, of the attributes Warren Buffet looks for in a business. The fundamentals are excellent. That's why I bought this one myself back in June. Thank you for your content.

I hold Ulta and I think it's definitely a good buy... But a 12% jump when Warren buffet buys it for 0.1% of his portfolio (with this sizing it's probably actually todd or ted and not even buffet himself) is crazy lol. Shows again how irrational the market is

The most important for me are the buybacks of the last years of 1Billon per year. This create extra value and ulta doesn't have dividends. I hope that they are doing buybacks now because the share is very cheap

recession fears? they've been reducing their earnings snd revenue estimates every quarter. even your graphs show that and you just dismiss it as public fears.

@@zenastronomy you didn't get the point, the stock went down 25% from the last report to 12x earnings because of recession fears, this tiny revision in guidance doesn't justify such a decline

@@thepatientinvestor9580 and they'll keep revising it downwards again, as the recession keeps kicking in. that's my point. it seems you've dismissed the idea that the recession isn't happening. also their growth estimates for next few years are pretty much flat rate, well below the 10% rate of real inflation of money printing. I suspect buffet bought this as hostile takeover play. my guess some big beauty company will try and buy ulta beauty as it keeps growing, and buffet knows this.
