Jesus came to earth at the humble baby that grew up and became a man that saved the world, the son of God and paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross or all of us and roll on the third day. It was a victory! Praise the Lord

It is well written: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36 KJV. God has sent many prophets and angels to warn mankind of his vanity and pride. You will do well to understand the meaning behind Christ's birth story. Forever beautiful.

Actually "inn" is a mistranslation. At that time and in that culture, people would never have left their relatives stay in an inn, let alone in a stable somewhere, but the family guestroom was full, so they stayed in the main room of the family, which would have been adjacent to the family stable for warmth in winter hence the manger made a convenient cradle (but since it must have been spring, not winter, there were no animals there). We have all those traditions that are just not compatible with the way people lived then.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, a residential complex a kilometer from Qumran. It was originally a palace for Hasmonean royalty. It was called the Queen's House. Because animals were also stabled there, it was called the. 'Manger'.

👍🏼 Pastor, I have one question. Pls, make a video on this. Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. How is it (Everlasting) Father?

Actually, It was Bethlehem, just not the one by Jerusalem! He was born just outside of Bet Lehm about 7 miles to the west of Nazareth. Which makes much more sense than to have a 9-month pregnant Mary bounced on a donkey for 90 miles to Bethlehem to the south. It also makes more sense for Joseph to have property 7 miles away and to have been from a location 7 miles away as people of the time generally did not migrate long distances from the place of their birth. The site is all but destroyed when a highway was built and the rubble was pushed over the cave to the north of the highway. The cave was at the top of a rise in a now wooded area to the north of Highway 77 just outside of Bet Lahm Galilee.

Remember, the Bethlehem was the same one where David son of Jesse was from.

The cleanliness rules made it impossible for the others to stay religiously clean when a woman would give birth in some kind of inn. They didn't have seperate rooms like we have now. So it would be impossible to rent out the other rooms if she gave birth in there. At least that is what I think of it. The innkeeper would forfeit a lot of money considering it was this busy.

The housing that Mary and Joseph went to are part of their family they had to be he had to be born in the house of his ancestors that's why they went to that inn you don't think it's the only inn in the city do you it was because he had to be born in his own house they stayed with their relatives and there was no room for them left

Why do people say Jesus was born on Christmas day Mary and Joseph could not have walked thr snow on a donkey he was born in March or September
@mikesmicroshop4385

It was likely March or April that he was born. It does get colder in December in that region it usually is in the 60s F it almost never gets to freezing or snows.

The Bible does NOT say Jesus was BORN IN A MANGER or even in a STABLE or BARN! Luke 2:6 "And so it was, while they (Mary & stepfather Joseph) were there (in Bethlehem) the days were accomplished that she should be delivered!" How many days the Bible does not say! However, it seems Mary came equipped with baby things she would need for the newborn and since the Inn wasn't available she and Joseph stayed at a relative's home awaiting HIS BIRTH! I'm just guessing!😊❤

With all the good work that you guys do, it would've really been wonderful if you would've taken the opportunity to associate the "feeding through (manger)" that our Lord was placed in with the facts that He was also born in "the house of bread (Bethlehem)", because He is the living bread who came down from Heaven to nourish us to a new resurrected life with Him through Eucharistic Communion - See John 6:53. The connections to the Lord's flesh being true food, and His blood being true drink, are only made more clear and beyond dispute due to the realities mentioned above. That reality is so important that Jesus was also born in "the guarded one (Nazareth)" while being protected in every way, including the Heavenly Hosts (army of the Lord) who were there when the angel showed himself to the shepherds in Luke. None of that is merely symbolic, which means neither is the resurrected flesh and blood of Jesus in the Eucharist that we must eat and drink to partake in the resurrection with Him after our time on earth is over. So, eat, drink, and be merry on Jesus this Christmas, and every time you come together as commanded! And do so with properly ordained elders who have received the blessing to serve at His table like Acts 6 makes clear is necessary. No crackers and grape juice once a month or once and a while will suffice for being faithful to our Lord's sacrifice and resurrection with that either. In Christ, Andrew

Jesus was NOT BORN in a manger! It's simply where Mary laid her NEWBORN, and PERHAPS the manger, which looked like a cradle maybe, was scrubbed and cleaned out and soft cloths placed in it by the expectant mother before she LAID the BABY in it after His birth! After all, Luke 2:6 says, ".....while they (mother and stepfather Joseph) were there in Bethlehem the DAYS were accomplished that she should be delivered" The Bible also doesn't say Christ was born in a stable or a barn, either! Since there was no room for them in the INN, they probably stayed at one of Joseph's relatives houses perhaps?!
