There is a reason you were instructed to put on the armor of God. Without it you will not withstand the devils deceit. You need to prepare yourself for a very dark battle because it is coming soon. I pray the Holy Spirit quicken you so that you'll have the strength and endurance it will require to finish this race to the end. The Lord is returning as the LORD of HOST which means a battle warrior. He will return with His 144,000 and the war will be raging. Back in the 1950’s Dave Wilkerson decided to stop watching television for 2 hours every night and give those hours to God. God only requires us to give him whatever we have and he takes that and runs with it. That ‘2 hours’ was a seed planted that grew to a fruit bearing tree. God is able to do mighty things through people who give him quality time. Through you and through me. You don’t have to be anyone special… just someone who has a heart for God. He is still searching to and fro for those ‘someones’. The Lord is good ❣️

Read the new testament, it shows how the Holy Spirit came onto the church. Every single instance. Look at the Samaritans, they were already converted and baptized in water but the Holy Spirit didn't come on them, neither did He come down on the ephesians until paul put his hands on them.

The whole message is against that teaching. The disciples had the wait for the Holy Spirit. It only with His power you can go out. Without out Him we are powerless. That’s why our country is dying. @angloaust1575 God is the same now as He was then. He still heals, He still baptises people with the Holy Spirit thru prayer with the sign of speaking in tongues, He still does miracles. I'm one of them. I was a drug addict who had all 5 stages of phycosis. Something that medically you can not recover anymore. I was mentally gone and needed to be in an institution. Instead, a brother took me to a prayer meeting, and God healed my mind. I am now serving the Lord Jesus Christ(not a charismat, btw) I was visiting a sister in Christ a few weeks ago who had a spine disease. She was folded into 3 her legs bent and pressing against her chest. For 4 years, if I remember correctly. God healed her in the soviet union, after which KGB tried to arrest her because her testimony was very strong. I know of dozens of miracles God did in the soviet union where there was a huge persecution of His people. God does miracles, not magic tricks. If you try to be a clown and pick up a snake, it will bite you, and you will die. But I know of a brother who was forced in the army to prove to the rest of the atheist that he believes in the bible( slavic Christians are pacifists mostly and went to prison in the soviet union because they wouldn't take the oath or take weapons, and military service was mandatory) they made him drink a cup of acetone because of the 16th chapter of mark. He took it and said, "Lord, I do this in your name." The rest is in your hands and drank the whole thing. He didn't die, and the people started to believe. I know dozens of these things. I've talked to some of those who this happened to or to the witnesses that saw this. Brother God is alive and acting today. Believe in Him like the word God teaches. Today, He baptises in the Holy Spirit with the signs of talking in tongues like He did in the very first days. Read and study those verses, and you will find that every single time someone was baptized, they spoke in tongues. May God give you light to see.

To set us free and give us joy unspeakable full of glory that compels us to love others like Jesus loves them as Jesus will manifest into us he said in John if we keep his commandments in Matthew 22 34 to 40! He also told us to get water baptized so we can soon after receive the Holy Spirit and Fire anointing Jesus called it. I know why he meant. The fire is Gods love and it is powerful. It gives life and heals the sick and lets us cast demons out in his name and even raises the dead! Jesus said to do what he did and we will also do more than was recorded as not all could be written down.

The Holy Spirit took my anxiety away and set me free from my unforgiveness and made me love others like Jesus loves them and I am compelled to share about Jesus with others. I also no longer want to sin or have anything to do with sin and God protects me from temptation in real time and I can see it even! I can not even get upset or annoyed with others anymore! Not even while driving and that is a miracle 1000 times over! I can not do that! God must help me for me to resist the enemy like this. I do not get the thoughts that make me want to accuse others. I just want them to get saved and to know Jesus as I do. I know they suffer. All sin is separating us from God. Especially sins of the heart. He can give you a new heart that does not want to sin. It will not make you perfect. If you sin though you will not be able to live with it and you will repent and be so sorry you will be forgiven and changed and protected and set free from the darkness. The Holy Spirit touch is like they describe in the Bible when they are in the upper room. I experience this when worshiping at home! You could not stand in the room. People end up face down worshiping the Lord in humility and honor for the Lord God Almighty! He loves us right back. God is our father and we are like children to him and he loves to see us laugh and be filled with his joy unspeakable! It will cure your heart of all pain and even PTSD instantly! I was cured just like that!

I have listened to the anointed preaching of David wilkerson for years, but he REALLY MISSED THE MARK ON THIS ONE. I don't want to judge him too much but I hope this is just a one time thing and someone has pointed out to him error of his message!!! His message is actually a false teachings and a mockery of the Spirit filled children of God! First of all, in min 33 he said that one must appropriate the Holy Spirit??? Not SCRIPTURAL. One only appropriates = adopts the Word of God into one's life by obeying it. The RECEIVING of the HOLY Spirit is a free gift Acts 2:38. The reason why some Christians are going from failure to failure, and from sin confess sin confess is because of mainly these 2 scriptures: 1 Corinthians 3:2 "I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able." Gal 5:17 "For the flesh LUSTETH against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." The Spirit filled people that David wilkerson is mentioning never grew out of their BABY spiritual state and this is why have no discernment and are easy manipulated, becoming spiritual blind. If one doesn't pray and seek the Lord (studying the Word of God) regularly one's spiritual being starves and his fleshly being becomes fat instead -- the reverse is true!!! The Man in Christ is two things spiritual and fleshly! The 7 churches in the Old Testament were Spirit filled churches "The seven Spirits" suffered each in different ways because of disobedience and spiritual blindness that eventually sets in!!!
