Might be Grade listed ? National Trust could step in but only by interest. So many places like this around unfortunately.

⁠@@greywebs1944yes it’s definitely going to be listed as it’s very old and such a stunning building! But I don’t see how that would stop someone renovating to its former glory! With these places you’d wanna keep all the original features! The room sizes are massive so you wouldn’t need to knock any rooms through! Wouldn’t be too bad of a job at the moment but if it’s left for much longer it’s going to fall into decay sadly and cost even more to restore it 😔
