Frontier at war. A bitter rivalry between the dinosaur hunters Marsh and Cope has led the new American frontier to be engulfed in a fierce war for paleontological supremacy. Both sides battle it out using many methods of humiliation, violence and thuggery. With each side producing incredible amount of finds detailing the ancient past of America the question that lies on the scientific mind is Who will win (Make sure to read this in a Tom Kane Clone Wars intro voice)

Did you know a dinosaur skeleton that that is only 30% complete is know as a complete skeleton because it is so very rare to get 60% and in the museum you may see a seemingly complete skeleton but really it is kind of a Frankenstein skeleton because they use different parts of random bones found all over
@BadseedGarden Жыл бұрын
It depends on what you mean, a complete skeleton is generally pieced together from taking the first fossils ever found and compiling them with the fossils found afterwards of the same species to try to get a picture for parts of the skeleton you didn't have in the first animal, the first is the holotype and the second more complete picture is the neotype.

@geoffhansen99693 жыл бұрын
So how does a shark tooth end up on a mountain top? The mountain was once at sea level where the shark died and then pushed up by Huge continental plate movements. Sea shells are regularly found on mountain tops or in areas where there is no sea now. The earth has gone through massive transformation in the past.

@cranesonice65663 жыл бұрын
@@zinzanb337 that’s the point of the movie though! It’s expressed in the books but also in Jurassic World where Wu himself highlights that all the dinosaurs are not to anatomically accurate design due to Hammond and Masrani wanting their own idea of what dinosaurs looked like. All the inaccuracies in design are from extra gene splicing from other organisms, such as tree frogs. My favorite debate with the films is just how far can humans control genetic power before it spirals out of control. There’s so many arguments to be had there and it’s just brilliant what all Crichton designed.
