Chris, can you give any advice on getting a hand built car titled? My aluminum bodied sports car will be completed shortly. Also did you get any pushback on headlight height? Must be 24” here in Florida and yours look close to that.

I have heard Florida can be very difficult in recent years. IMt work gets an in house serial number and Certificate Of Origin for each item made (furniture, car bodies, luggage…). The owners have used various avenues from walking into a DMV and using that MSO/COO to hiring legal firms that specialize in the process.

@ disappointed to hear that about Florida. This state used to have the opposite reputation. I guess there is always the SEMA route but I would actually like to drive the car to places other than the car shows.

I registered my hand built c-type in NY without much issue. Basically created a new car with whatever chassis number I wanted. Absolutely no way you could do that here in Switzerland.
