My buddies and I all have talons. Mine is a 4 seat. Other than my one propshaft issue, they are awesome machines. Kinda a do it all platform. The i4wd isn't a locked diff. But it blows the visco out the water. It actually spins all 4 90% of the time

Good choice I’ve had mine for two years and love it !! I’ve got the live valve 4 seater , 32s, Hess tune, full exhaust, there’s also the I take upgrade , and spend about 50 bucks on some intake hose and a filter and get the intake out up under the roof , shift plates a must also

I wish you guys all the best with this project. I definitely see a lot of Talon-curious viewers in the comment section on SXS videos, so hopefully people tune in. I agree that relatability is important for growing a channel. While most of you guys have pretty expensive builds, they at least have some visual resemblance to the machines they started as, and I think that's important. Finally, with regards to the Pro R, there is always a lot of hype when a new top-dog model comes out. But, the price point on that machine is so high, and it's hard to say how quick the hype will die down.

I have owned 2 Talons and a Pioneer LE.. I'm not a mudder but do hill climbs and trail riding.. No complaints with the I4wd.. The Talons are tough machines overall.. 👍👍👍 #teamwaxoffroad . . Wife and I garaged the honda atvs and bought 2 1000r fox live valve since we are pushing 60 and after 45 years of atvs about time for more comfort. To my point we have been to Hatfield and mccoy trails with the talons 8 times meeting other family members with other machines. Everything we spend a good chunk of one day working on the trails on someone's machine. CanAm, rzrs etc. But never have we had one of our talons or anyone else break down.

There are two in my group, excellent machines. Not sure the performance of the 4 seater as he putts around, but the 2 seater he blasts around like a maniac having a blast. Obviously not climbing as well or near as fast as the turbos, but still plenty of fun I'm sure. I went with an X3 R though.

@@DirtRoadBoyz2 Driving style can make a big difference on belt life, I don't mean riding hard, I mean just being aware to give it basically heavy throttle or none. I believe light throttle kills belts, too much slipping. One of my machines has 1k miles on original belt riding hard, a buddy with same machine has been through 5 belts (Wildcat X). Only have a few hundred miles on my X3 so far.

Really though, probably easier to change a belt than clutch plates, no? Both are wear items, just CVT the belt is the wear item, on a conventional clutch the discs are the wear items.

Yall should go on a sand dune trip one day just to try it out. You wouldn't have to do anything to your rigs ex cept tires and I think they are available to rent. Yall should look into going to little Sahara in Oklahoma for a couple days. I'm an all around riding kind of guy and I lean more towards fast trail riding but I can tell you there is nothing like carving a nice big dune for the first time and then u get hooked.

I think you guys made the best decision to grow your channel. You guys already had the yamaha crew from the beginning. You guys have secured the Polaris and Can Am crew the last 2 years. The Talon will grab a whole new audience. As far as a tube chassis, that would definitely end it for me. Alot of the southern land riders have went to those and I have completely quit watching there videos. I like seeing content of machines that I can actually build just being a average Joe. You have plenty of footage covering the KRX. I own a KRX and a Honda Pioneer and really enjoy the content you guys produce.

Last year the primary was breaking off and turning into a Chinese flying star causing the first STOP riding immediately and return to dealership recall. Now that primary is right between the seats, hopefully in the 50,000 dollar pricetag the engineers got incentive bonuses with it.

I’m glad you’ll bought a Honda Talon see how it perform. I always own Honda I was stuck between the talon 4 and X3 Max on which to buy. I end up getting X3 Max they was just more information about it out there.You’ll have two different x3, two razor’s, and krx . Be awesome to see how the talon does without being belt driven. Just need Wildcat xx next to see how it performs. I like see how each machines have it advantages and disadvantage. Also how you’ll test products out in each machine to see what works the best.
