Car shows on KZbin are a dime a dozen, the few that stand out do so because of the people involved. A big part of what I've enjoyed here is the relationship between the two of you and the fun you seem to have together. Glad you're taking time to care care of yourselves. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

There's a saying, "when you're going through hell, don't stop." That resonated with me through your entire video. Grinding will eventually take it's toll. Loving yourselves first and loving one another through difficulty just means your metal is strong. Personally, I loved your boat series. I wish you'd do another boat, but I recognize that that was circumstantial. It just never seemed like you were "grinding" when it came to the boat. You have my prayers for healing, health and prosperity. God Bless!

You have already done that. Breath in and let yourself enjoy being alive with such a great family and spouse. My wife looks at me the way Emily looks at you. That's all you need bro. As a content creator who has struggled through the pandemic, family deaths, and some career uncertainty I feel this so much. My mental/emotional strain has limited my creative time and energy. Especially since I was recently hit by a car and for the last 6 weeks I haven't been able to walk. That said, nothing wrong with hitting the pause button, taking time to reset physically/emotionally/mentally. Have to take care of yourselves first. So you're not the only ones in this situation and your journey outside the garage is just as much of an inspiration as what you do in the garage. Keep it up!

It's incredible how entitled people can get with things that are provided for them by others, for no cost, with no obligation. It's worse when it involves social media personalities or celebrities because those same entitled people tend to forget that those personalities are still human beings, they often act like they're entitled to be rude or attack people because "hey, they should expect it, they're putting themselves out on the internet, they knew what they were getting themselves into". The crazy part is that most of these people think that they are good people in regular everyday life, like being horrible to people online doesn't count or something. People can be so terrible.

YOU guys matter to each other first! Much love and support from my wife and I coming your way. You guys are wise beyond your years… took me twice your age to realize sometimes I need help and sometimes needed to learn it was ok to ask for help. When I was young in school with many of us struggling to learn, a teacher said “Life is hard be the yard, but by the inch, it’s a cinch” he said sometimes you need to stop, step back, reevaluate and take the problem on in smaller bites and even team up when allied for solving a problem or reaching a solution. I certainly lean on family and friends when in need and higher places when the going gets tough and too heavy to carry alone. Never feel guilty putting y’all’s well being first… we got your back. I will wave and smile if I see y’all at Iola car show in July. I took lots for myself from your video so you are still helping others.

Asking for help is the hardest thing in life. Been fighting Stage 3 Type "A" Melanoma cancer for the last five years. It's terrible not being able to leave your recliner and watch the world go by. Those are my two feet in my picture with my Uranium over on the desk. But, I really want to thank you and many others for keeping me motivated and occupied in the last five years. Glad to see you taking a break to work on yourselves. You put a lot of yourselves out there. Take a break whenever you need it, we’ll be here when you are. I can understand Aaron’s adjustment with alcohol. I had a terrible struggle with alcohol (fully functional, but drank heavily every night). Got clean at 32 years old. Was good for 21 years, but about a year ago I relapsed. Was ok for a while but it spiraled out of control again. So, weeks ago, I sobered up again. Hardest part is making the decision to make the changes you need to and breaking the habits you get set into. The money I’m saving is crazy REALLY significant too. Thanks for the talk, looking forward to new content ahead for the year! Be well folks.

I for one will be here keeping both of you in my prayers, and I'll be here when y'all start posting again. It is good to see you both doing well, and hearing that you got away from alcohol. Aaron and Emily, it seems a lot of genuine people who happen to have a KZbin channel are stepping back, analyzing their past experiences with content production, and regrouping. That's a necessary healthy thing and we appreciate you being candid about needing some time off for that. Wishing you the best and looking forward to you next KZbin video's when you are ready. Love you. Thanks for Sharing!

I wouldn't say it's disappointment, but it's kinda like not getting a phone call from a friend for a little while. You miss them, and you wanna talk, but sometimes life is in the way. The disappointment is that we don't get more of you in our lives! We miss the content, but we're always here to support you!

Proud of you guy's I kinda went through the same situation but I was a addict and changed my life around but my wife didn't want to change so I had to get a divorce and move to another town. Life is a lot better now met my soul mate and it changed my life and as a car guy and a full time mechanic just off on weekends with 10 projects at home I'm just burnt out and don't feel like working on them. But I've learned if we can't count on each other nothing else matters and now that I have that I'm a whole lot happier you guy's take your time and I happy for you your true fan's will always have your back.

I just subscribed to you guys channel yesterday. As I found the John Deere build. But, the Deere is not why I subscribed, it was the dear way you two treat each other. So gentle and fresh and full of grace one for the other. Arron I'm so proud of you for giving up the alcohol, way to go young man. The most important relationship you have in this physical life is sitting close at your side. I'm so very excited for both of you. An amazing couple demonstrating change and growth in a most beautiful way. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🙏❤

It's got to be so frustrating having to stop yourself doing things that you used to do like second nature in the shop, and not being able to do it is doubtless disheartening to say the least. A break to step back, reassess, reorganise and restart with some things offloaded (editing) must feel so great. Glad you're getting back together, content be damned, you're better off looking after yourself first. It's sad that people gave you grief for not uploading, especially having said "hey, things went sideways, we'll be back!"

Good job! I struggle with ptsd and some new found depression, it’s tough to get out to the shop lately and work on projects/post videos. One day at a time… sometimes it’s one minute at a time. Being honest and open is a great healer. You guys are a great team!

I love boats and what caught my eye to your channel was the Bayliner. I've watched every video of you guys working on and enjoying time with family and friends on that boat. I rebuilt a 1977 BAJA 19 ft. Open bow. I'm not a marine mechanic or carpenter but did all the work myself. You have inspired me to buy a cabin cruiser. My wife and I are in our early 50s and I think she would love the amenities of a cruiser. Love your videos. God bless you both.

You folks are such an inspiration. I am glad you have put your health and relationships a priority. Delegation is one of the most difficult and rewarding things you learn in business. Giving others the chance to work with you, to feel like they own their jobs and can be creative has huge benefits for everyone. Not everything works, so you execute, assess, adjust and execute again. I have built a few small companies in my 81 years on earth. Teaching and learning keeps one young. Being in sync with each other is the best. Taking time for meditation, exercise, reading and prayer will even out the hills and valleys of life. God’s Blessings on you and your family.

Love your videos and enjoy the great chemistry that the two of you have and share with your viewers. Sure enjoy the engine transplants you have performed in the Z-Car, Love Truck and hope you do more of that work. I have learned a lot just watching what you do and am amazed at how brave you are to attack some of the complicated projects without a lot of training and a learn as you go technique. I wish you much success and financial rewards, you deserve it.

Had a wreck last year February 8th. Broke almost every bone in my legs left hip, femur in 3 places (now have steel rod) completely exploded right foot (my heel was behind my knee) left knee destroyed and because of my steel toe boots broke all toes except big ones. Went through rehab, stopped drinking picked up a huge amount of weight because of being bedridden and depressed. I'm still out of work looking to get released in couple weeks. I've been there is a understatement my wife took some time off but was our only provider which let me feel even more inadequate it's definitely been a ride. Now doc says I may have to find new field of work (32 years as a heavy equipment mechanic and the welder ) I've done some automotive stuff but times do change lol. Keep head up and push forward. Really dig the show as my wife would help anytime I brought stuff home so I understand that bond.

Thank you guys for sharing this! I’ve gone through some similar changes in my life (ironically around the same time - my wife and I were literally watching this with a “wow, that’s been us!” kinda feeling). Appreciate the candor and can’t wait for more episodes on your time, your way. It’s the most important thing, I believe, to creating a genuine, authentic channel like you guys have created. Also, having friends involved and help who believe in the mission (and don’t just care about the camera) makes these builds so fun. Hope to see you guys around soon!

(Just my humble opinion:) You guys live on another continent, and I watch your clips and feel like I'm next to and sharing your adventures - that is true to the word "awesome", a miracle that you have created and can be very proud of. Taking the time to heal and look after yourself is exactly right (and will always be), to let us all share your story is generous of you, beyond measure... Thank you, and if you can and feel like it, continue in this manner!

I've always felt that Aaron and Emily are a wonderful couple that cares about each other and others around them. I'm glad you shared this with all of the channel's fans because it proves how special the two of you are. I want to add I quit drinking after getting hit on my motorcycle, and a doctor asked that I refrain from alcohol because of the pain medication. Well, that was in 2007, and after the surgery and healing and my wife's help, I never looked back. I'm happier and healthier now than I have ever been in my life. Much love, and be blessed.

Blessings y’all, for taking some time for yourselves. My living in China for the past 15 years…I missed out on more than I could imagine. I’m 67 now, and can’t do what I’d hoped to do, at this age, and that’s disappointing. It’s sad, that I wasn’t smart enough and/or disciplined enough to know how to revive and maintain my own vehicles…bc I had some awesome cool rides…I just didn’t learn how to keep them running properly. I’d just dump them, usually at a loss, and buy a different set of problems. Now that y’all and Derrick and Chris have taught me how to revive cars, I revived my own 1995 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. So happy to have found y’all. Glad to see Aaron is healing. Blessings y’all. Thanks.
