Sending you, Dan, and Boomer all the love and best wishes for Boomer's full and speedy recovery. You bring so much joy to this community! While it is not exactly the same, our vet found nodules on our 12-yr-old Samoyed's liver. He had surgery to remove the affected lobes. He made an amazing recovery from the surgery itself--chemo was a different story--and he went on to live another very happy 2 years. I have no doubt that, with all of the love and the excellent care that Boomer clearly receives, he will bounce back and will continue to lead a very full and adventurous life. 💛💛💛

Fingers crossed and hoping for Boomer's speedy recovery! When my sammy was 9, after a long diagnosis, he had to have his spleen removed. It was a major surgery, and after a couple weeks there were complications and he had to have a second surgery to remove a mass that developed in place of some post-surgery wounds. His recovery took some time, he became anaemic, but in the end, he recovered. Some time later he was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, but we're managing with meds and frequent control tests. Now he's 11 and going strong. Hoping this story will give you strength to go on - even when it seems pretty bleak, Boomer has a strong support system, lots of love, and strength! Sending our love your way.

What we won’t do for our fur kids. I hope to god that the growth is ONLY in his adrenal gland. We’re only going to put out good things into the universe, he’s taken care of and you guys help him as soon as anything seems wrong. Most off, he has a wonderful life no matter what.

I can't imagine how scary it was when Boomer started getting sick. :( I hope his surgery goes well and he makes a swift recovery. I'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts. 🩷🫶
