Thank you for this video! I sometimes get caught up in the curriculum that I tend to put the real life stuff on the side. Thanks for sharing

Could you please make a video about the curriculum you use for your children? Your children look so happy and able to spend time doing other things beside schoolwork. I really like how you educate your kids. Thank you for your videos!

Thank you! I did a video on "Our Large Family Curriculum". I will link it below. Hopefully you can find some ideas there. In response to your comment and another I received, I am going in the next week or so to also try to do a post/video on how we use Ambleside Online in our large family. Maybe that one will help as well. Another simple way that I think gives kids more time for their interests is to have a mindset of home over school. We don't try to get to through a specific point in the curriculum by the end of the year. I measure our success more from making progress every day. After the basics of reading, writing, and math are done for the day, I sometimes count the work they do on their interests (baking, solving rubix cube, painting, strategy games, creating, etc.) as part of their school work for the day. Our Large Family Curriculum kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3iXoWV9aN-hg9E I hope that helps!

Yes, this helps a lot. Thank you so much! I’ll take a look at your curriculum video! Can’t wait to watch your Ambleside online video. I have seen the website and resources they have, but I have not found a way to use it because it looks like a lot, but it definitely has great resources that I have wanted to use for a long time. Thank you!

The kids relationship with each other is the most amazing result of homeschooling. I pray my kids will always be close because they have this relationship. I hate that my family will say when the kids have conflicts its because they are together all the time. Why is it bad for family to be together all the time? Society has really pushed to separate family relations.

Completely agree! More than ever before, I think families need to have strong ties and those are built by time together. I am so glad for my kids to be growing up with each other!

I found your channel I want to homeschool my daughter but not sure if I should she's in kindergarten and having a hard time and I always wanted to do it but was told by family members you can't do it your not equipped for it etc. And I want to but I don't know the steps of taking her out of school and where to start.

As her mom, you absolutely are equipped to homeschool your daughter! You have taught her everything she knows so far...eating, potty training, sleeping through the night. Academic work and life skills are just the next step. I wrote a post on how to homeschool when you don't know where to start. I hope it can help you! ourlifehomeschooling.com/2022/11/07/how-to-start-homeschooling-when-you-have-no-idea-what-you-are-doing/ I also have tons of other posts on the blog all to help moms get started homeschooling. You absolutely CAN do this!
