Left 4 Dead 2 was so perfect that basically making a left 4 dead 3 would be pretty much impossible. You can't really build off of perfection, just look at Cod after BO2.

Yeah, like i said in the video a 3rd game would simply be an expansion like the second, not changing the gameplay by much but improving the AI, bringing back mod support, better graphics, more maps and modes, etc. Tbh a remake of the second game would be perfect.

btw some ideas i have for left 4 dead 3 would be to - hold 4 weapons (2 guns, 1 dual weildable, 1 melee) - add more variety to modes like surviving for as long as possible or killing as many enemies as possible before a time runs out - more unique kinds of uncommon infected like non human like enemies with some deformities almost looking like a silent hill monster - more kinds of environmental story telling like some audio recordings

I'd argue that the og casts of CoD Zombies (Primis, Ultimis, and Victis) have a lot of good personality on par with L4D's cast

The biggest question you got to ask is “Do we really need a sequel?” Like think about, the purpose of L4D2 was to improve on their previous title & they sure did with the maps, new character cast along with the remastered maps/characters from previous game, weapons with other added useable’s, a full on modding community that can further improve the game in a number of ways & above all, it’s a simple af game. Making a sequel to an already perfect game may very well backfire like what we saw with B4B where it tried something new & most players just couldn’t get behind it (like the recoil, weapon customising, stamina, etc). I love this game & i’m glad this game will never get a sequel as frankly, it doesn’t need one, it’s perfect as is & if it somehow does, I can tell you it’ll follow the same trend of video games that got sequels & it ended up going down the toilet.

probably, but i can still wish for the day we atleast get a remake/remaster of the second game, i mostly just want it to have more polish in certain areas, as despite how much we love it, its not perfect and can be improved. Though i do admit a 3rd game isnt needed, a remaster or some heavy updates are though

@@Gtfo_Kenny now a remaster I can get behind although probably not for PC but console players since like I said you can improve most, if not all current issues on PC via mods with Valve still working on the game from time to time. Of course it ain’t perfect but what game isn’t you know? Even Silent Hill 3, probably the most scariest horror game to exist & yet, the lore doesn’t make sense. Nothing is perfect but I can settle for near perfect.

You already know Value does not care about that and it is on Xbox 360/one/Series S/X but it’s been deleted for years and all the in game DLC’s got delisted when the Xbox 360 marketplace shut down. But the service are still up and you can still find people.

No it’s not on any of those consoles anymore (complete at least.) you can now only play the game, if you already owned it digitally or have a physical copy. You just said they delisted game, and the 360 store was shut down making not possible to get the DLC. Any new players in the future that want to get into L4D2. Can’t get the full experience, Which makes it a reason, Value should care. Plus it’s easy money all they have to is just add the Last stand content and improvements that come with it then put it back up digitally.

Not people with 100,000+ subscribers. I don't give a damn if they're small in the grand scheme of things. If they literally have the amount of subscribers and viewers that can fit into a full size football stadium (American or soccer) then they are not fucking small. Left 4 dead 1 campains in 2 are NOT the same as the the original game. Spitters, jockeys, and chargers dont fit in with the theme of the first game nor do most of the new weapons like boomer bile and frying pans. Some of the melee weapons make sense for the 1st game like baseball bats and axes but thats the reason to own the first game. Its supposed to be darker and scarier like youre fighting for survival. The second game is more upbeat and more about the fun of killing zombies, both are fun but the first is more grounded in the setting whereas the second is more of a comedic take while still being somewhat grounded. Theyre both great games but im just tired of hearing all these youtubers spout nonsense like "Theres no reason to play the first game unless you want to see where it all started" when it couldnt be farther from the truth. Maybe its just me, ive been playing since just after the 1st one came out when i was a little kid but damn ive been hearing this alot this last week

Ive never personally felt that way but i see where youre coming from. Ive never felt like the new additions to 1 effect the game in any way but positive. Though i do agree that the tones of the 2 are different, with 2 being more light hearted and accessible.

I think updating it to 64bit and making the game engine more capable to bypass it's limitations is the way to go. The Workshop and Source Mods are too ingrained on the success and longevity of the game, so making a sequel would only work if you make the previous ones obsolete and functional with the work made from the community.

Did u know that at one point they were making a Left 4 dead 3 but it never got past a couple desert design photos. and L4D1,2 are still playable on Xbox360/one/Series S/X. But have been delisted for years. Besides the DLC’s they just got delisted when the Xbox 360 marketplace shut down and they were $7 a piece with 3 DLC for each game, storage 4.5 GB & 5.1 GB

I almost forgot that l4d 1 and 2 were made like a yearish apart. Like l4d2 was supposed to be waaaay different and better but it was l4d1 with a handful of new stuff. Same everything. To this day people are still buying copies on a copy and paste. I highly doubt they could come up with anything good especially when all the people who made 1 and 2 dont work there anymore.

@@Gtfo_Kenny Gotcha. Quick pointers. Don't live in your scope, use the gallo for the shotgun. M16 for ARs. train in spawn. Run Aether shroud if you're playing shotguns or training. Camping use ring of fire. Essentials are jug, speed cola, stamina and tombstone if you are far from teamates.

I never really thought of L4D as the best zombie game. It's amazing yes, but it's not really want I think of when I think of my favorite zombie game. Honestly, Dead Rising and CoD zombies comes to mind more so.
