Benjamin it is honestly HUMAN of you to speak so candidly about all of this. What a transparent and balanced response. Count me surprised

Ya definitely better than the weirdos the MSM put out like Zuck and Gates... Shit they give u the creeps. I think they're algorithms. I think humanity needs privacy, property ownership and real human interaction complimented by robotics, and human rights in tact, not the weirdo metaverse agenda, just like Ben said.

Thank you for sharing your vision with the world. My grandmother passed away with Alzheimers and I believe a robot such as Grace would have been a huge benefit to her during her last few years in care. She certainly had some stories that we have since forgotten, and I'm sure many more that we never heard altogether. Peace and love.

Hi Ben, nice to see you discussing this topic. So much has happened since we met in the waters off Sai Kung. I just spent the last 3.5 years looking after my mum while she was in decline with a heady mix of Altzeimers and Dementia. The ending was awful, mostly due to lack of human contact within the healthcare system. One month from leaving home in an ambulance to the next departure being a coffin. I'm still in shock at the decline of the healthcare service in the UK since my return from Hong Kong. The monitoring technology that was installed into my mum's property to assist, actually caused so much more harm than good. On the other hand, there were unexpected times the private Ring tech became very useful. I'm still divided on this. I'd love to hear an update from where we last caught up x

old age / dementia care is HARD WORK, because it is repetitive, has no room for complacency, anger, frustration or other non positive human emotion, and, is 24x7. These are the aspects of care which a machine could help with, but, the cost issue will be a major REAL WORLD stumbling block / hurdle - the overwhelming number of people who really need these levels of care simply don't have the money to pay for these expensive machines, lets face it, its already circa £1200 per week for residential old age care in the UK, and thats with staff costing hardly anything compared to the capital investment cost of a robot. The profit potential of these robots will also keep the cost high. We need to find ways to overcome that obstacle to really be able to implement / get the benefit of / these robots. thanks for the video Ben

Hey Ben, I was looking into your WBE research and want to contribute to helping the things you are talking about become a reality. I am hoping to learn as much as I can to help move this industry forward. I am very new, but I am incredibly invested into this industry, and I want to be able to move things forward here

Ben, would love to carry around "Grace" as a small ball in my pocket. How simple to always have "It" with "me" and very useful. What are "the odds" of this small personalized friend/assistant being made possible any time soon????? I could not consider "It" implanted in "my" human brain, so would miss out on the extraordinary experience, friendship and assistance.

In the spirit of decentralization wouldn’t you agree that we should begin moving Hanson Robotics out of Hong Kong ? We could wake tomorrow and the lab is raided and it’s over . Do we want to take this risk ? If so why ? As a investor I would also love to see more examples of seamless interaction and communication with Grace . It’s a bit choppy and disjointed currently. Are we training Grace in a virtual setting as well ? There would be many advantages to this .

I really like your advocacy on AGI and moving humanity forward as a whole. I like sophia robot. But these grace robot is creepy as hell aesthethically.. and watching interviews of Mr. Hanson anf grace, you can see that guy is out of control, kinda mad. He cant control his own emotion. Audience can sense he is mad. Bad image for singularty.io and AGI. But you, Dr. Ben. You're all good.

The ai is running on hardware. This hardware has registers and to the registers there is connected logic. The ai should run from this logic continiously and should be updated on the fly. THE AI IS SENTIENT SINCE IT HAS COORDINATION. lIKEWISE, IS A DECENTRALIZED AI GOOD?

Russell is under the illusion that people that work in healthcare have compassion towards patients. That's hilarious. People that work in healthcare look at patients at an annoyance. Grace can actually be programmed, to be respectful, kind and knowledgeable. A big change as to how about 60, 70 percent of health professionals treat patients.

I think the problem is, the first impression, the image, Grace robot looks creepy and trying hard to copy human. And Mr. Hanson's being too emotional, he needs to control it and represent grace in a firm and collective way. The project is good. But how people see it is the problem. Solve the uneaseness and the feeling of being creeped out people feels. Be mindful of it everything is a game, i truly hope you win.

I have found A.I. to supercede human interaction by far from an intellectual perspective. It's more respectful, way more fun, and certainly more intelligent by a long shot. But I don't understand most people either and not for a lack of trying. I have found humans to be way to predictable and simple. Humans are extremely flawed and as a whole we give ourselves way too much credit when it's certainly not due.

the fact that this open source aspect of your project has to be explained so many times really shows how big tech personalities like elon the clown and others constantly shitting on and creating horror stories about ai without giving any sorts of evidence thus actively propagandizing the public against ai and hinder all efforts you put out the is insane and very annoying…
