I think it’s a Mexican thing. Out of respect for our elders lol it’s just something you do in private. My husband and I have been married 15 yrs. and never are affectionate around other people. And I like it.

I think most Mexicans are the way you guys are. In public, around our families and parents especially we kept it very respectful and I think that’s the way it should be! Just call each other by your name. In private we use our nicknames and have a certain voice we talk and are very very affectionate. But only in private!
