We rode the Turbowheel swift more and got around 20 miles on a charge which was a little less than what the manufacturer state (25 miles) but likely due to the way my son was riding it during that time. We didn't ride the Etwow as much so I just posted the advertised range. Sorry for the confusion.

We ended up going the other route after having the turbowheel swift and Zero 9 for 8 months, Etwow GTs W/drum brakes ended up winning us over. I am still shocked how much I love the GT after having the Zero 9. Call us crazy but the adjustable suspension on the Gt feels better and will only get better when I change the wheels.

Jim I have an E-Twow and I ride the heck out of that thing but I can understand why your wife or someone else might not be crazy about it. Thin wheels and a twitchy accelerator can make you feel a little unstable on even the best of roads. But I love its portability and its acceleration. Great video as always.

Last year I bought a Xiaomi Mijia M365 and would go for many joyrides with it as well as using it as my daily commuter but I was bummed that my fiancée couldn't join me on rides. This year I bought a used Onewheel+ XR (using the Jimmy Chang checklist) and gave the M365 to my finacée so we could ride together. Our rides together are more fun than I imagined and my fiancée now uses the M365 as her daily commuter!

Odd, I’ve watched about 10-15 videos on the Etwow GT 2020 and this is the only one that didn’t like it, I’ll stick to the ETwow as this must be a one off situation and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it, plus they got a special edition coming in a few weeks that works with an app for locking and unlocking the scooter.

I really want to go for a long ride, I just have to figure out where to go. Right now with the pandemic I don't want to be around anyone so I'm pretty much staying close to home.

Thanks for the video Jimmy! Happy belated Father's Day! You can't go wrong with either scooter. Both are great for their respective categories. I would have gone for the E-Twow GT as I just have a warm spot for them. I just got my wife to ride one of my old E-Twow Boosters from 5 years ago and she is enjoying it. Once I am near 40lbs. I just prefer having a power scooter that goes 40mph or more. I want ultra portable or ultra powerful with an emphasis on ultra powerful :)

I will say on the turbo wheel swift, if it’s the same as the zero 8, which I think it pretty much is, mine snapped in half while riding. The part where it connects the deck is a weak point. So please be careful! Just my experience x

I love my Turbowheel Swift. The only other scooter I tried was Ninebot, Max which I also liked. I think it is fast, sturdy and having a suspension makes it so much more comfortable. Two brakes are definitely a plus. I didn't have luxury nor means to try many different scooters before purchasing my Swift, but I still think I made a good choice.

Hmm, I think your range estimates may be off. The GT has a smaller battery yet more powerful motor than the swift. I'd expect to get more range from the swift. Am I missing something?

I have an ebike, and the most important thing is servicing and availability of parts, for me anyway. It's best to get a machine that has a local dealer who can fix them onsite, and even better if they have some parts in stock too. My ebike is great but the parts have to come to the UK from Holland.

I have to say not everyone is as lucky as you that can try both and compare but after search between wwp, etwow gt 2020 and turbo wheel. I ended up taking the gt 2020 because of the portability / the looks / the thumb acceleration.

That is awesome that all of you can do that as a family. So far I have electric skateboard (Skatebolt Breeze II) and an E-Bike (Himiway Cruiser Step-Thru). My wife rides the bike as I ride the board. Cant wait to get an E-Scooter, Unicycle, and OneWheel XR.

Awesome video wonderful wife. Which Scooter is faster and better Turbo or vsett 8 and better suspension. Is there any chance you can change the throttle on any of them. Because Evolve touring has that option.

My problem is simple: it needs to combine well with train and it needs to carry my 92kg up relatively steep hills. I think the e-twow GT is the only viable choice for me (on the entire market). Anything else I found will either be quite heavy and/or bulky. Not fun on the train during busy hours. Or weak and useless for large portions of my ride home. I would love to see slightly larger wheels or gel filled wheels on the GT. Anyone knows if there is an aftermarket upgrade available?

Love this video and want to get on with family rides too! Any recommendation on a quality e-scooter for a child (~45" tall)? Need something that's relatively close to a onewheel pint's speed/range. Really hard to find a quality, higher-end scooter in this category and the E-Twow GT might be too much of a hotrod for a little kiddo.

Based on the info from website that I read, Turbowheel Swift has air front and solid rear tires while E-Twow GT has solid front and rear tires. This explains why your wife feels more stability in her ride. However, you also at risk of having to change the inner tube often for the air front tire.

My number one spec is water resistance because I live in a tropical country. But I don't like ninebot/cruiser, too heavy, the zero/e-twow don't have IP rating either, but the power to weight ratio of the e-twow gt se is too much to resist, I'll just use silicon on the openings.

Tell your wife to look up how to set up a cruise control so she does not have to constantly have to hold down the throttle, if she feels comfortable at 15 mph or 18 or 20 or w.e she can cruise control at that speedand still break to slow down and it turns off cruise control. (This is for the Etwow GT 2020 scooter)

Not a good scooter at all, I have had 3. only reason, the first one broke down and was irreparable, so they talked me into the Booster V. Broke down with less than 1000 miles on it, took a long time to get back from the company. when i did get it back, it was toast within a week, sent it back about 3-4 times, lost count. They finally sent me an actual replacement, the replacement is doing the same stuff the others did, shuts down, goes fast then goes slow then just stops, many error codes, Most importantly, the people who run the company specifically Scott Morris, not a cool person. Could care less about you after the sale. Didnt return phone calls or emails, acts like its my pault that i have to return the scooter every month. Awful awful awful, trust me, there are much better option out there and you dont want to give your money to jerks.
