My grandson's high school choir sings this twice a year - first and last concert. He's a sophomore, so I've heard it 3 times now. It's their theme. When they sing it, they invite choir alumni to join them. There were quite a few alumni at the final concert last year. All the choirs come back on stage and sing together, so the stage was crowded with the extra alumni. It was awesome! I'm so happy that my grandson loves to sing! He's amazing.

When the Maine Gay Men's Chorus combined (finally) with the New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus ina concert together, we sang this. It was a moment long-overdue (NH is my treasured home state) and magical.
