I'd rather sail Sweet Ruca than that supper yacht because it's simple and not flashy which makes it much more fun in my opinion but I'm a simple yet complicated kind of guy. I bet the food aboard is much better but I hate dressing up and don't care about being waited on.

Is there a way to extend your stay for like three months so that you can see all of the islands that you wanted to? They should offer that to cruisers because cruisers spend money and that time frame is just way to short to enjoy. How about going to American Samoa and then sailing back? What other island could have you sailed to and then sailed back where it would have been supper easy to do?

Guys quick question 🙋🏽.. what happened with your dog? How easy is it for Samoa, and port Williams before to enter sailing with agriculture issues ? Or health procedures? I really want to follow your route ! I did this before with my dad via Panama but I did not have a dog on board. Thnks !! Good winds

We are finding it depends who is in the position of power at the time for how easy it is to check in a dog. It is a lot of paperwork and the time of vet visits with weather windows is really tricky. Everything is time sensitive and your documents do expire after so many days. This is a good one for a full video or blog. There are many things to consider, such as the safety of your pet even when they do get check in, as there are many stray and sickly dogs running the streets in most countries. Whatever information I share here may even change by the time you set off on your journey! But some day I'll have to make a blog/vlog to share the experience!
