Hi Folks! I just discovered your Channel today and watched this video plus the Death Valley shelf road and Big Bear Diesel Heater. Wonderful and charming. Milin ...you are so sweet and real. What a welcome change from so many other channels that think hyping every word they say is necessary. ...Great job,, well done, you have a new follower. Hey Randy does great too. I just bought an almost new, used AT Habitat like you did. Installation in 2 weeks. Its going on a 2017 Tundra TRD, lifted, on 35s ,6.5 bed. I really liked how you covered the key big big features of the Habit. you are such a natural....winner winner. I live in Yorba Linda and will be running most of the same trails you do. I am retired for 8 years so officially a "young-old guy" still having great fun off road and camping. Keep those new videos coming!

Great video!! I have 2 questions. Is the main sleeping area narrower than the SP? The mattress that you mentioned dose it get warm like the exped? Thoes pillows do rock! Our first bid trip i forgot to pack our pillows. Biggest mistake ever 😂😂. I bought a set and have been super happy.... i think i my try a heist pillow next as my wife thought 1 pillow would be enough and stole one of mine.😅 . I handled one in rei , it was nice but 3x the price.
@OpenRoad4Two
@OpenRoad4Two Жыл бұрын
I think the space might be the same, we don’t have exact measurements. However, the Habitat has an optional accordion sleeping platform where another person can sleep. As for getting warm, we didn’t really experience any drastic temperature changes with sleeping on top of the built in mattress. We think it’s super comfortable. Yes, these pillows rock, best camp ones on the market for sure!!! Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment.

You definitely gained more interior space. That might come in handy if you have to stay in the rig during rain storms. If you don't get a 180 or 270 awning it might be wise to get the Habitat room enclosure to help keep your kitchen area out of the elements, especially in cold and wet conditions.

@@OpenRoad4Two the AT Overland enclosure will fit the bill for sure. You might not have as much space underneath compared to a 180 or 270 awning, but you will stay dry. Plus you can use a smaller heater for adventures in colder weather.

Your second amendment rights! YES!! Good for you guys!! That is a huge tent. A bad nights sleep can for sure change the whole mood of the trip. I tend to get pretty grumpy if I don't get decent sleep. Wow those pillows are pretty good sized. I might look into those. I hate having to take the pillows from the camper to the hummer when we decide to overland or tent camp. Good idea about mounting up your heater. It's funny how you think you know what you want and as you camp, you realize it's not suitable. OR in some cases a situation just changes what you thought you needed. I really like that pull out drawer cabinet. Looks like you're going to end up with a great set up. Hopefully it suits your needs and wants. Least for a little while 😉
