Amen! This also shows how God used other languages (such as English) to preserve his word even further. You can see throughout history how God was working, as the scriptures moved further west to eventually go into print.

There's a respectable theory that Jesus Himself may have spoken Greek a lot when He was preaching, because many of His listeners would not have understood Aramaic.

i would need more evidence for this theory, but there is evidence of Jesus speaking to the Roman Governor Pontius Pilates in both John and Matthiew's gospels, and it's very plausible that the governors wouldn't know aramaic but only koine greek
