If I'm baptised in Mathew 28:19 - are my sins forgiven??
@Lifehopeandtruth10 күн бұрын
Thank you for your question. If you sincerely repent of your sins and seek baptism as a commitment to living a new way of life, then yes, your sins will be forgiven. You can learn more about the biblical teaching on forgiveness in this article: lifehopeandtruth.com/change/forgiveness/what-is-forgiveness/.

This presentation doesn't answer "why" we were born, but only how we were born, who made us, and what we are to do to either remain or return to His favor. The why is given explicitly by Paul in 1 Corinth. 6, whereby he tells us we are to judge the angels; the fallen angels. Similarly, Jesus tells us in His way in John 5:27, along with John 16:11. Man was made a little lower than God per Psalm 8 in the Geneva Bible, the Bible/Scripture of the English Reformers. There is a war going on in heaven between God and Satan and his rebels. We were made to judge Satan's ways to be wrong, even with all his temptations. See Job 1 & 2. We judge by our actions. To return to God from our sins is rightful judgment, and against Satan. To remain in sin is to judge Satan's ways as more desirable than God's. So, what is everyone waiting for? Judge God's ways as supreme and lively. Stop partaking in Satan's sin and receiving of her plagues. Go out of her as we are commanded to do.
