Women want to be women. When a "nice guy" comes around, they are basically playing the feminine role and forcing her to be in the masculine role. im an older man.. ,50s... The game has changed. Men before us had no clue how bad it was going to get. #2.. The rules 60-70 years ago our fathers, or older men told us.. No longer apply . Back then, at least where im from. There was no idea of a HVM... There were just fathers and players .. Back then, If you owned a Cadillac, you might be considered high value. Off-topic: What about if you are the one that cancels a date? It happened to me las Friday, it was going to be our third date and our plan was spending the night at my place. The issue was that I got really sick that same day so I called her for the first time to explain the situation and cancel the date. A couple of days later I got well and I contacted her to rearrange the date offering a specific day but she answered "I'll let you know tomorrow" but she didn't. At the moment I'm waiting until she reaches out to me to plan something else. 🤷

Please, take their advice bro. Like most of us, you’re probably a good, honest guy, who is empathic and genuinely cares. She feels bad that you canceled on her, so this is what you get. I had an almost exactly similar situation. It’s disappointing, but after you realize that, don’t hang onto that feeling. Let it go. Do you see how fickle she is? Bro. Don’t be like her. Do not react. Do not continue to be bothered. Do not try to appeal to her. Do not apologize if you truly did nothing wrong. And as long as you can look at yourself, without just blaming yourself, and say realistically that you did nothing wrong, don’t apologize for how SHE feels about what happened or your behavior. Do not chase. She will be owning you if you do. Be mature. Be the role model. Take control over your emotions, and never let her see your negative. If you don’t, you will teach her to use it against you. Shift your focus onto moving forward with your own goals and priorities, just like you should have been doing before you met her. Continue to live your life, independent of her. In this life, you only have control over yourself. Your life is about you, and you are responsible for everything that happens in your life. I’m not saying everything that happens is your fault. Sometimes it is. But it’s always your responsibility, no matter what. How you respond is who you will be. Only someone who is proven, and truly supportive and devoted to you should even be allowed to see you falter. And even then, you should limit it if you want them to trust and respect you for your strength and resilience. A man who can never be vulnerable is not truly strong, but neither is the man who is often vulnerable. I hope you understand. If you have your stuff together, and she’s smart, she’ll correct herself. If not, she was never going to make it bro. Either way, never beat yourself up. Shame is supposed to make you feel bad for contradicting your values. Toxic shame is exactly that. You deserve to get exactly what you give, and if it doesn’t seem good enough for you, it isn’t.
