Wonder Woman Vs. Grail was great, but the fight with Medusa where Rucka had her systematically dismantle WW's armor and Diana had to blind herself with snake venom to avoid being turned to stone was better!

Batman :beat ya ass for jaywalking and leave a batarang in your mailbox to let you know he knows where you live . Grail entering the fight feels like the famous first encounter of Batman with Bane where he orchestrated Bruce to fight all his villains one after the other to be weakened before breaking his back... except that here, no one broke the WONDER WOMAN !! She went down like Supes against Doomsday : victorious but near-death exhausted.

But their situations were worse compared to this one. I mean, Batman was so tired that his punches didn't even hurt Bane. And Superman actually died fighting Doomsday. Wonder Woman here will survive this. At best she'd be out for a bit before she returns again.

I know Western Comics are more Story and Character Focus, but man I wish Fights were paid more detail instead of just getting cliff notes and summaries. I want to SEE these characters' skills and techniques. I feel like I'm told their great and not shown it. We're only shown the big hits, not the nuance in-between, which is what I want the most.

This comic would have been good if Tom King didn't feel the need to describe every single thing that Daniel Sampere is showing you through his beautiful art. This issue would have honestly been better with no dialogue at all, King did nothing but get in the way. The constant shots at Superman were also just bizarre. We get it, Wonder Woman is awesome, you don't need to piss all over the other characters to establish that.

Nah, that's the diff between Diana and the rest of the Trinity. Batman literally cannot, and Clark (usually) chooses not to. But under the right situation? Yeah, Diana can and will throw hands and stop you ASAP. In other words -- I love Clark/Superman because his mercy and care is damn near bottomless. He will almost always chose to maximize care for those he's trying to stop over efficiently stopping them; this was pointed out well just a bit ago in the sequences where imprisoned Lex was "giving advice" to Clark about how to take down villains. But I also love Diana/Wonder Woman because her mercy is more pragmatic, unwilling to give villains too much of a leash. And that's what you're seeing, here.

To me the story is all over the place. The plot of these issues has but put under the rug in service of moving the book faster to get to the action. Women women not having a proactive plan/motive to find Emily or find a way to win the people’s trust again feels like Tom king is setting up all these plot with no payoff or just deviating away from them
