to add another layer to Josh's Koala rant in the beginning: because Australia is very arid, the vegetation that grows there is very coarse so it wears down the molars of all the herbivores that eat them. to lessen the effect of this, almost every herbivore in Australia has evolved multiple sets of molars to replace old ones as they wear out note i said "almost" all herbivores. can you guess the only one that doesn't? yeah, Koalas now you might be asking "well, how do they deal with their molars being ground down?" well the short answer? they don't basically Koalas will spend their days eating Eucalyptus leaves until their molars become useless and they starve to death i leave you with a hilarious and sad phrase i heard once: "There are many ways Koalas have died, but there has never been one that has died of old age"

I’m glad to finally be able to watch a new video before it’s a few hours after upload. This episode was so amazing, and it continues to be one of my favorite PROOB episodes of all time. However, I will not call Brachydios “Daddy”; that title is reserved for either Gogmazios or Dire Miralis. Cotton is right about the agnaktor being injured before brachy finishes him off. In the cutscene brachy gets slime on agnaktor which stuns him once it exploded. It's still impressive, but brachy didn't one shot him.

Just putting it out there, brachydios did not beat agnaktor in one punch. TECHNICALLY it was one punch plus a big explosion from agnaktor getting coated in slime during a tussle, which injured it. Then brachy punched it to finish the job.

Just got to Iceborne.

Crystalbeard Uragaan is an insult to the very concept of deviants, its existence is a blight on Monster Hunter's good name, a black mark on their record. He lessens the other games for his existence, making the series as a whole worse for his presence within it.

Josh really does sometimes ruin Cotton's experience with these Monsters he introduces to him. I hope this look back makes him realize just how much he needs to rein himself in sometimes and just let things progress naturally.

I’ll give Josh the benefit of the doubt and say that obviously he was excited about showing Cotton old gen monsters (especially since Cotton sounded so excited in the first couple videos), but yeah, he’s admittedly over-hyping of Brachy and the obvious hint in Nerscylla’s of bringing up the webs in that one area kinda kills the excitement cause now there’s specific expectations and is kinda of a good reason why less is more sometimes. Like worst case scenario, when Cotton asks “What we hunting?” Josh should just say the name and nothing else or give the classification if they have fought that type before or say that he hasn’t fought one of it’s type yet (Obviously before he encountered Tetsu, Ludroth, and Seltas respectively) so he has some expectations, but it’s more broad and he can have fun guessing what it is before they stumble onto it. Like I said, I get the excitement of showing a buddy a monster you’ll think they’ll like, but going, “HUH, WHAT’S WITH THE WEBS? HOW WEIRD!” as you hunt the only spider monster at this point kinda sets up the idea of “Okay, so we’re fighting a spider.”
