my siblings and i have been initiated in palo mayombe' since 1984. and i must say, it is real,and it works. i have been saved from harm many times. i've had enemies suddenly change their mind...turn around, and because i'm a son of ogun, i've had police ignore me whenever i might have been introuble with them. now, i don't want anybody to think i'm some bad person using palo to get away with being a bad person because that's not the case. i'm a positive loving person, but certain things happened in my life, and palo has been helpful to me.

I think one reason palo mayombe also works so fast is because it has been the least colonized. Some Santeria and ifa as well as hoodoo + voodoo have been infiltrated unlike palo

I suspect that if he explained more, it’d be telling things that aren’t for non-initiates to know. Even outside of magick, in certain fields of specialty knowledge, and even in some widely-known mainstream religions, certain knowledge is given only to some-and even then, it’s after decades of study and involvement, and even then- not everyone is selected to receive certain parcels of knowledge.
